crazy food cravings

I realisee that this is a totally random topic but do any of you get really random food cravings that like come out of no where.Sometimes just the mention of a certain food makes me want it.Its so wiered lol.I was also wondering if any of you crave strange foods or know anyone who does?When my mam was pregnant with my brother she craved chalk and used to eat my chalks lol.wiered eh?but aparantly its quite normal for expectant mothers to crave it.:shocked::laugh2:

The other day i was just sitting here, and then the next thing i new i had a craving for Haribo's Tangfasanasics - so i had to go the shop which is like a 20 min walk!! lol x

andd when my mum was preganant with me she ate coal lol! x

In the summer I get serious cravings for potato salad, its kinda weird :tongue:

I get them all the time. I remember in the first half hour of a 3 hour exam last year I started to crave a McFlurry. The weird thing was it was in the middle of winter.

me and billy created a crisp society based on our craving:tongue:lol

i went through a phase when i was sixteen where i craved vanilla slices from greggs lol it was kinda funny and once i had a marks and spencers ready meal lasagne one that was kinda odd:whistle:

sometimes if someone says a certain type of food say chesse for instance,if i say it to myself enough i actually start to think i want cheese its wiered.
Shame it doesnt work for healthy stuff though like veg or fruit:bawling:

At the moment,I keep craving porridge at like 10 o'clock at night! Always eating fruit nowadays as well. Oh my god and sherbet lemons! I get through a pack of those in a few hours.

You crave ice if you're anameic(sp) and pregnant women lack iron which is why they crave it.

Horse and frog legs. I know what everybody is gonna tell me but it's do delicious. This is typically french to eat some every saturday or sunday. I always want some when someone is talking about it.

Onion Bhajis.
It all happened after the other night I went into a South Indian restaurant for a roti wrap, and they had onion bhajis on display. They looked so crunchy and yummy!

Well I managed to ignore the craving but the same night I was in Spar and they have "ready to eat Indian selection" with 3 onion bhajis in it. I got it, and ate them!

And now I want more.
