How optimistic are you?

On a scale of 0-10, how optimistic are you about BB9?

For me, its about a 6. The usual excitement I have before BB just isn't quite there, but wants to be.

Good points

- Highlights rumoured to be at 10pm
- Game play orientated series
- Good adverts and graphics (so far)
- Bigger house/garden
- It can't be any worse than BB8
- Sharon Powers
- Big Brother getting tougher (but we hear that every year)

Bad points

- George and Zezi on BBLB
- Cut back on live feed (even though I don't watch it anyway)
- 13 weeks
- Lack of advertisement
- Lack of media hype
- Lack of information

I just feel the series will be a big letdown.

Today's countdown ad has knocked my optimism down quite a bit - it's reminded me how much I hate Marcus Bentley.

So at the moment a four, though probably with the press pack tomorrow I'll be back up to an eight - for a few hours at least.


Positives and negatives I pretty much agree with Tom, though I'm warming to the idea of George and Zezi on BBLB. I've started with such a low opinion of her (based on nothing) that everytime I see her I like her more and more. She's either going to be really really good, or really really bad. Don't think she'll be a bland autocue reader either way though.

I still hold the idea that people dislike Zezi because of the 'confirmed' host being Caroline Flack and I'll admit I'm one of those people. But after seeing the BBLB advert for some reason I'm nowhere near as negative towards her as I was.

I've purposely done this poll today to see on optimism because we get any real information (press release and pictures).

I put 10, which I always try to be before any new series of BB. I always think the best will come out of it, and this year it seems that from watchign the adverts and the new designs etc that I won't be let down. ;)

The fact that there's no hype is getting me down - the only other people I know of who are excited about BB are you guys! Before, I used to go into school and some people would be like 'Omg, Big Brother's starting tonight', but there's been nothing like that this year... :(

I'm still pretty hopefuly that it's gonna be good, though.

im about 7 ive found a few people today at work that are excited and im kinda excited but im not sure about the line up of potential housemates

im keeping mine low and just seeing the ads and the eye as "art" and love the art
after last year im not letting myself get let down again so about a 4 in hope it exceeds my low expectations
