Big Brother contestant Kitten may face jail if she does not turn up in court next week over non-payment of fines.
The 24-year-old, whose real name in Kathryn Pinder, is due at Brighton Magistrates' Court next Wednesday.
While non-payment of fines is not a criminal offence, those who do not turn up to face the charge can be held in contempt of court and jailed.
Channel 4 said the producers of the reality TV show would do "whatever it takes to abide by the law".
A spokeswoman said: "The situation is that we have not been contacted by the courts or any legal authority. If we are legally obliged to do something, then we will.
