Image Upload Help Please ?

Heya x

Right - I have a banner i want to upload.. butt its just over 4mb big.. ive been waiting almost an hour for it to work on Photobucket.. Only then it gets an error on the page! x

Anyone know how i can upload it please ? x

Have you tried tinypic? or another image host?

you could possibly try to lower the filesize too.

Maybe resize the file it could be too big or as Darenn said try tinypic or imageshack.us is a good one to try as well :thumbs:

4mb is huge, especially for a forum banner. The mods wouldn't be too pleased with it.

It's too big (in file-size) for the forum. It will make some peoples' pages load slowly.

I would say about 0.25 MB. Your other banner is 1.7 MB also, I see.

We have been thinking about reducing the number of banners allowed (excluding thin banners) to 1 actually - 300 px high max. That would be better, I think.
