No World Cup pointers for Big Brother housemates

Contestants in the new series of Big Brother will not be given any clues as to England's fortunes in the World Cup.

They will not even be informed if England make it to the final.

Producers Endemol say the housemates' isolation from the outside world will once again be complete.

Big Brother 3 is due to start on Channel 4 later this month.

The World Cup kicks off in South Korea and Japan on May 31, with the final in Yokohama on June 30.

Maybe all the housemates will be Scottish, Welsh, or football haters! :colour:

Im glad they're doing this now.
At first I thought they should let them watch a bit but it is Big Brother and think how good it would be if England won (not setting my hopes high!) and a die hard football fan was in there and found out!!! That person would be soooo excited!!:colour::laugh::colour:

No they weren't allowed to watch any of the football last year. As a birthday present Bubble got table-football to play.

I for one would find it a blessed relief to be able to escape away from the world cup hype.

I do not like soccer

in 1990 I resolved to make my room a world cup free zone in Halls of residence, but on the final one of the flatmats, who was bigger than me, demanded to come in and watch it on my black and white TV
