10 seconds before launch

it would be cool if 10 seconds before the launch they do this countdown like this

Was it BB6 where they did the hour conntdown on the launch? They should do something like that. I remember in every advert it would say how many hours, minutes and seconds left eg. 4 hours, 12 minutes and 33 second or something like that.

I think it would have worked better for bb8 as this year all the launch countdwon ads are different so...

They had a countdown for bb4 on the screen and then davina said "It's back."

Too bad that BB4 had a great build up but when it started it went downhill.

no, it would be shown during the advert section before the final part of the previous programme. when it gets to one, it starts to play the bb theme and Davina is seen on her poidum saying something like "join me in 5 mins blah blah blah" and then the swhite bit comes on then a new add comes on. "Tonight - 9pm" and then it goes off.

At the start of the launch the virgin media add airs, and then it does the countdown again and then the the "tonight - 9pm" is rerpleaced with just as simple but effective "now". Davina says her imfamous opening line then the titles role.

i think that would work out the best... or the 10 second countdown, flash dead quick all the housemates faces, then davina says something, titles roll, and bb9 begins!


although it doesnt matter cos it wont make us any more/less excited will it lol

She should. The reason there wasnt one last year was because of the Ofcom apology for CBB5.

They won't. Channel 4 only broadcast an apology regarding the CBB5 race row because Ofcom forced them to. Ofcom cleared Channel 4 of any wrongdoing over the Emily incident, and so they are not required to broadcast an apology.

I wouldn't mind a 10 second countdown, followed by Marcus Bentley explaining the show to n00bs, followed by the titles with davina's opening line coming in the form of a live ad 15 mins before launch, but I'd like it to be done for a better advertised series.
