Yes...bye bye Friday nights. The best show on television will now air on Sunday's when the new series launches 8 June.
Series 7 will last seven weeks (not inclu. BB show) and the first guest hosts are Katie Price & Peter Andre.
Katie also host in series 1 (ep 4) under her alter-ego Jordon.

I dont mind Katie on her own, but I cant stand Peter.
I'm suprised it took them this long to get them to host tbh. They seem like the sort they would have booked earlier.

Same subject, but a whole series with such a big fanbase, a whole topic is necessary. A topic for a copied report from DSBB about one show is not necessary, and could have easily been posted in the topic already made by Chrizzle.

I saw bits of it only because Pamela Anderson was hosting. I like Pamey I always have done and always will. She knows how to keep her male fans happy.
I think is was really funny. Both JLC and Alan were great. The only thing that spoiled it was Agnes whatzerface.

Mark Ronson is hosting tonight, with music from N.E.R.D. BB's Steph will also be doing "Coat Of Cash".
According to wiki Boyzone will be hosting next Sunday.
Upcoming hosts are Barbara Windsor, Will Young and The Hoff!
Mark Ronson :bored:
At least Joan Rivers is on 'Who Know's Most About The Guest Host?'

I like him but he is the worst host for a long time.
Alan and Justin in New York was hilarious.
Arneldo
23-06-2008, 03:38 PM
I thought Mark was good, but I did expect him to be better. Alan & JLC were on top form last night though. 'My Question Time' is a great addition to the show, just to see Alan get in and around the audience - very funny.
Gawd. I love this show.
It was hilarious! I loved the bit at the end of "who knows the most about the guest host" with the album cover.
"Well happy 16th birthday Julie"
"16! she looks menopausal!"
I laughed soooo much haha... I love Alan, hes hilar.
Sarah.
23-06-2008, 03:39 PM
I didn't think Mark Ronson was very good. =/ Worst host I've seen in a while. But lmao, when they went to NY, that was so funny.

Mark Ronson has to be the most boring man ever.
The SNP/FNP needs a shake-up...the format is so boring now. Penis-jokes about the topical barometer, the electric-shock game (which is so ****)...it's so tired now.
I like the new Question Time feature though.
They need to change it a bit though its all getting really samish.
Shaun
23-06-2008, 04:12 PM
Justin Lee-Collins is saving the show at the moment. Alan can be relied on to say something camp and shocking every now and then, but he's at the centre of the repeated jokes, so I don't find him funny any more.
The BB9 sketch about The Incredible Cookie Sulk was good though
Xander
23-06-2008, 04:15 PM
I agree about the format change, some of its still funny but its getting quite old now.

it was soo funny when Alan was pretending to be Mikey and walked into the wall.

I still find it funny. If it was the same host each week then it'd be boring. I like how each host offers something new to the format.
Arneldo
23-06-2008, 04:22 PM
I dont they need to change it at all. Because they have new person hosting each week, the show has a different feel and it can change the show completely some weeks. They don't need to do a complete format change because every week it's different.
I think JLC and Alan are the main source of entertainment though. I mean I don't watch the show just for the guest host, I watch it more for them to. I think Alan is keeping the show alive though. I love JLC but I find him far more repetitive then Alan. Alan is very witty and hilarious.
MrGaryy
23-06-2008, 04:27 PM
Alan is great but I have to agree he does get monagamous after a while. JLC keeps it fresh each timme although Alan provides more belly laughs!

Sometimes if it's someone big you're a bit "wow" for a while, but that's it. Occasionally they have some rubbish hosts (Ronson) but now and then there's brilliant ones (Gok Wan was fantastic, to name one)...
But it's all too predictable now.
Host introduces. News stories are briefly talked about, with pictures basically summarising that Amy Winehouse is a mess and Wayne Rooney is a monkey. JLC & Alan talk to host. They then show a clip of them doing something with host. [Sometimes funny]. Break. Sunday Night News. Penis joke. Topical barometer. JLC & Alan pretend to be a couple and ask host more stuff. Who knows most about guest host. Buzzers. Some BB evictee wears the coat of cash. Break. Question Time. Gameshow. Carr-aoke (sometimes funny). Person always wins.
There - same routine week in, week out.
They could at least rearrange some bits, but I think they need to axe the "Who knows the most about the guest host" bit. Nobody particularly cares, and seeing someone run into the audience wearing a coat of cash isn't that funny.
They need something new.

They need something new.
It is the same features, same order but different jokes with a different host every week which changes the show. Once they start doing the same jokes over and over again, then it will begin to get boring - but they dont.
I love "Who knows the most about the guest host", because you know it's completely unscripted and you get some of the funniest moments on it.
The only feature I think that should be axed is the "Big Fun Gameshow", it isnt that funny. I do like how they always allow the person to win though, if they didnt then it wouldn't be the fun show it is. I liked the "Famous Five" feature but they axed that after series 4. I loved when they mocked the game shows like "Countdown" (******down).
It feels a bit stale to me now. I don't make a point of watching it anymore and it takes a lot to turn me off a TV show I used to really like.
Everything has been done to death and even though its with new guest hosts it feels like its all been done before. Even worse when they start inviting people back who have already done a show.
Alans "I have big wood under the table" jokes are just boring now. Seen it once, you've seen them all. Just not funny.
And Alans "its me, Alan" got old after about the first time it happened.
Shaun
