BB: NINE STRIKES AND YOU'RE OUT!

BIG Brother’s housemates will only get nine lives this summer.

TV chiefs – fed up with rule breakers – have decided to bring in a strict law to keep the wannabes in order.

Since it is Big Brother 9, contestants will be ruled by a Nine Lives policy, which is part of the show’s Law and Order theme.

Any housemate who commits nine offences – including discussing nominations, bullying or vandalism – faces nomination or even eviction.

A source said: “Everyone is sick and tired of seeing housemates break rules and not being punished. This will make sure they are.”

This year’s 16 housemates are currently in hiding abroad before the launch show on Thursday night – which will be hosted by Davina McCall, 40 – but word has already leaked out about the line-up.

It includes a blind man and former Girls Aloud reject Stephanie McMichael, 19, who was thrown off Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 for lying about her age.

One person not looking forward to the new series is TV comic Alan Carr, 31.

He loathes wannabes and is furious that he and sidekick Justin Lee Collins, 33, had to film a special edition of the Friday Night Project with former housemates as special guests.

They included Ziggy Lichman, 27, 20-year-old Chanelle Hayes, Lea Walker, 37, Nadia Almada, 31, and Charley Uchea, 22.

Alan raged: “I had 15 ex-Big Brother housemates on the show.

“Oh my lord… Ziggy can’t be in the same room as Chanelle. Chanelle can’t be with Lea. And Lea can’t be with Nadia.

“We had Mariah Carey on the week before. Good as gold!

“I had to miss a Bruce Springsteen concert to film it. I would have loved to have been at that instead of interviewing Charley about her career.

“Obviously I don’t want to socialise with these people.”

Maybe 3 strikes means BB prison time

It's a good idea! But I agree with you... sounds like too much! :conf2:

And I hope they don't put a blind man in either - I don't mean that in a nasty way... I just think it would complicate stuff.

Wow. They should have just enough time to trash the place and break all the rules before the end of the series.
