Why do Bi/Gay people seem to insist on letting everybody know their sexuality in a simple introduction? You never get straight people saying 'i'm clive, 20 and straight' ... or is it because you feel it's a big deal?
It's a genuine question, I'm not having a dig, I've just noticed that SO many people like to announce it as though it matters.
I don't see that it's a huge deal, it's hardly part of your personality or what you're like as a person.
Or are you just letting people know so both boys and girls know they're safe to try it on with you?

I noticed that too! It kinda annoyed me because, liky you said, a straight person wouldn't include it, there fore if Bis or gays feel they need to do it then they are just adding to the common belief that there are differences between people of another orientation. Nor am I having a dig too!

I only asked a simple question, I was curious as to why you [and a lot of people] feel the need to state your sexuality. I didn't ask you to delete it from your post.

That's why I wondered. Because it's as though their sexuality defines their personality when it so doesn't, so I just curious as why thea lot of gay/bi's do it.

I don't think it's because we wanna stand out or anything, or because they feel it's big... it's just something we want to let people know... XD

"I'm straight and it annoys me when people state that they are bi. You don't get straight people doing that."
Oh, the ironing.
