Rachel is a former child actor, who featured alongside Hugh Grant in the film Night Train to Venice when she was eight years old. Filming in Rome, she says Grant even organised her eighth birthday party. Rachel went on to perform in three other films and over 20 commercials, but eventually stopped acting because she says she had to choose between acting and education, and Hugh Grant suggested she get her qualifications first.

A fitness fanatic, Rachel trains at the gym five times a week and runs 10 miles a week. She believes people should eat more healthily, and that the government needs to reduce the price of fruit and get rid of ready meals so people will be encouraged to cook and eat more healthily. A former local beauty pageant winner, she went on to be crowned runner up in a Miss Wales competition the year Big Brother 7's Imogen Thomas won.

Rachel - who says her nicknames include "bossyboots" and "grotbags" - says her mum is her best friend but that she wants to be on Big Brother to "cut the apron strings" as she's a bit of a home girl. She also wants to be on Big Brother to represent "pretty, intelligent alpha females".

Wow! she is WAY more interesting than I realised.

I do like her, but the only thing which gets me down is that she is seriously unintelligent ... I know I'm talking to the fanclub here, to I'm treading carefully ... but a few examples:
- she doesn't know how many days there are in a year
- she doesn't know what 'at your peril' means
- she thought the stick was the hardest role in the puppet task
- she cheered when it was discovered that Rex etc had correctly identified the people who stole the token (not realising that meant they had failed the task)

She's a sweetheart, but I would be worried if the future of my children rested in 'teachers' like her.

If she wins, it will really change how the UK is... letting a kind genuine and unselfish girl win would be the thing to do.

WE need to ask some serious questions about the way Rachel was treated on bblb/bbbm after she won, and also of davina's 'interview'. It's now obvious they didn't want her to win (chef rex was their fave). Rachel was hardly mentioned on the eve of the final, and only her mom spoke up for her on the last bblb. Yet there was a row full of rex fans on the front row............And then there was her being shoved in the backgound on the bblb get -together,made to look less important than the rejects .
