I really hope that because Michael's blind he doesn't win because of novelty or sympathy votes (not to say that he's bad, if he's a good housemate who actually brings something to the house unlike what Pete did, or didn't for that matter, then he should win) because then it creates the "unfair-winner complex." Just saying that and I really think that before we have any "… to win!" threads we should at least watch the first few shows.

i was finking the same thing,bloody sympathy votes will ruin Big brother once again. i hated pete and i dont like Michael, its not becayse he's blind though i fink its a bad idea bringing a blind man into big briother i just fink he's very annoying :mad:

Completly agree, housemates will be afraid to nominate him because they will think they are being seen as harsh because hes blind. I also think this about the public - they wont want to vote to evict him. I cant see him being a very interesting housemate either to be honest...

But I hope he walks.

That house is a health threat to him; Do you think the housemates will want to look after him 24/7; they've taken him into a environment that breaks people; I don't think he'll cope well.

If he's a good housemate; fair enough.

But people will be scared to nominate or evict him if he's a bad housemate.

I really do hope its not another Pete, I don't want people to vote based on sympathy, I want them to vote on what type of person he is in the house.
I think the production team are going to favor him when editing the show for the highlights.

I hope that the other HMs are not expected to be "responsible" for him. I know how shallow that sounds but they have all gone into the house for an experience and they may all want to do their thing but feel a duty towards him.

Pete was such a nice housemate!!! No one would have voted for him if he was a bad guy at all!

I loved pete and he was so sweet and he had personality. People just say it's a sympathy vote!

I don't want him to win because he's blind.
If he does something great than yeah, I don't mind.
I never wanted Pete to win.

I think that if Michael wasn't in then it would be anyones guess who would win, but with Him in I have a feeling that He would probably win x

but the bookies got him 5-1 to win i think!

a lot of people love kat...so its likely that she will win.

I hope he doesn't win. He doesn't seem the type of person to leave a lasting impression or do anything special. But I think he'll get the sympathy vote for being blind, even if he was the horriblest housemate ever, he'd still be guaranteed a place in the final, probably even win just because he is blind.
