Personally I think its a nice chillout show for the summer and I like to see people's relationships develop from meeting each other to leaving 93 days later...

I watch it because I enjoy the show and it's something I like.
X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing are things people watch for entertainment, Big Brother is what I watch for the same reasons.

It has to be to tune into some stimulating conversations with so many well educated and well balanced people, who are an amazing representation of society.

Because its not scripted and anything can go wrong as we've seen in previous BB.

BB is a unique show where you watch housemates you hate to love and love to hate... its fun to see twists and ralationships happening (or not)

To see the interaction between a group of people that don't know each other.

I watched it since the first one (apart from BB4 that was horrendous) it's a tradition in my house. Plus I love the comical aspect of it. When BB is funny it's amazing.

Plus BB is one of my favourite shows.

I suppose i largely watch the show out of pure curiosity. Its interesting to see how we react under unusual circumstances. As the big brother series continue to air each year, i can only assume that big brother will have to invent increasingly more absurd/ingenius/creative/amusing tasks and scenarios that he contestants will have to endure if they are to stay on the show. I am literally pulled in to see what these new shows will contain, if big brother fails to up the anti and improve on last year, i shall probably lose interest and not watch, but hoping that big brother wont fail me as it can be great tv.

I'm from the U.S. and I watched one episode of Big Brother years ago and thought it was pretty lame. But I've started watching BB9 online because I've known Darnell for years, and I can honestly say I think I'm hooked. Much better than the one over here!!

I thought I'd gone off BB, but it's been entertaining watching the highlights so far - and I don't think I'll stop. The BB season is always related to the summer, and I think they make the perfect combination. It's interesting to see how housemates cope in all the different situations thrown at them. I would like to say the novelty hasn't worn off, and that's clear by the faithful fans who stick to it. I expect to see lots more interesting stuff.

How did you know he was going to be appearing in BBUK? Did he tell you before entering?

Also which was the other BB you saw? If it was our 4th series or 8th series I'm really sorry you had to get put through that lol.

If it was any of the others, you probably thought it was lame because the episode you watched was of a day that nothing happened in.

You really need to watch a series from launch to finale to enjoy it properly. I started watching BB on the day it first started and I thought it was lame for 2 1/2 years (as I only watched it because the family did). Then mid-BB3 I started watching it for myself and got into it.

I watch it because it's live and has no script so you never know whats going to happen.

As a psychologist by heart I enjoy analysing and watching people and BB is the perfect platform for this.

I honestly don't know. There was nothing on TV one Friday night back in May 2005 and luckily for me, maybe not my mum, I just happened to turn on the BB6 launch night.

Whilst my mum didn't really think anything of it, I was intrigued, and I instantly became hooked. Ever since then BB has become my favourite TV show, and that's all thanks to the fact that there was nothing on TV that night.

If I really had to think of a reason why I have stayed loyal to the show then it's probably because I just love the whole concept and idea of the show, putting complete strangers (well not really anymore ) in a house and leaving them to see what happens, and also the twists keep me hooked aswell.
