big Brother's wedding task will take a further twist tomorrow night when Mario and Lisa are asked if they want to marry for real, according to a report.

Show chiefs have told the couple that they must pretend they are not together if they want to win immunity from the first eviction. Instead, Mario is pretending that his girlfriend is fellow housemate Stephanie, who he proposed to as part of the challenge yesterday.

Once the truth is revealed tomorrow, Mario and Lisa will be given the opportunity to tie the knot in front of their fellow housemates, according to the Daily Star. The Big Brother house has been licensed for marriages and the minister recruited for tomorrow's fake wedding is able to conduct ceremonies for real.

"Having put Mario and Lisa through an emotional wringer, we're keen to reward them with a happy ending," an insider told the newspaper. "An on-air marriage would be a real coup for the show. We've got our fingers crossed we can pull this off."

Would be interesting to see their initial reactions - would LOL if Lisa was keen and Mario was reluctant (or vice versa).

Why should they have all the limelight they've been in enough shows on TV>

I think it would be a bit wrong of big brother to potentially ruin their relationship, i dont think they should even go there. (but would be funny hehe)

They so wouldn't do this... what minister would agree to marrying the two when it's clearly not genuine... surely that's not even allowed.

if this was real it would mean bbhad got a wedding license meaning any member of the public could get married in the bb house (this was why charles and camilla changed it from getting married at windsor castle) so i dont think its real

Any normal person would say no.

But.. fame seeking people may be up for it.

I think there is a chance of them doing this, we'll just have to see.

I think this would be a great idea, would be awful if one of them said no though.

It's not that much of an original idea, a marriage has taken place on another BB, just not the UK one.

Also the venue must have open access to the public, so someone can come and say "I Object" at the key point

Well, BBUK recycles ideas all the time...but they always add an interesting twist to make it uniquely theirs.

For instance, the couple pretending to be paired with someone else happened in the US, but the marriage aspect was new.

I think it would be interesting to watch on TV, and I think BB's probably been planning this from the beginning...I do hope they will give them time to decide, and a legitimate ceremony though...marriage is kind of a big deal.

This is how it shall go...

Wedding goes on until big brother or alex objects...

Mario, and steph is called to the dairy room, big bro reveales that they are not a couple and that its in fact lisa who is marios girl friend (this is shown on the tv)

Then luck and stephie are called to the diary room

they are informed that they have passed, and that they are imune (the screen swithces off) and luke and steph are chucked out

the mario and lisa are asked in private if they want to marry for real

It would be REALLY tacky to actually get married in the BB house

Next year they get a pregnant woman, almost near delivery so they can have the first baby born in the house

Now why does that sound familiar?

I think it has been done elsewhere?

One quick google later (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4355434.stm)

Now let's get back on topic

This wedding is a crass idea aimed at breaking up Lisa and Mario for real

IMHO

So how do you build a ditch house?

It must be awfully cramped

Sorry but some typos really create bizarre imagery :joker:

Well BB did confirm that a wedding will definately take place on Sunday. Who says that they are referring to Stephanie and Mario? Maybe BB isn't lying

When Mario said tonight about this shame marriage was denying him and Lisa the chance of getting married, it made me think he would be well up for doing this.I think Lisa would be the one to object though.

It would be a bit silly if they did get married. Seems more like a tacky MTV 1 reality TV show.
