View Full Version : What a load of crap.

Billy

Mario and Steph managed to hide teh fact that Lisa was involved atall, so why did Big Brother feel the need to tell them there was another couple? Theyprobably only guessed Lisa because of ages (a lucky guess), so all the hard work they done has gone to waste.

Ohand my fave will be out first, suprise su-****ing-prise.

Yeah exactly, I don't see the point of telling them there is a secret couple in there. So it's kinda a disappointment to such a brilliant twist.

Sam!
08-06-2008, 03:57 PM
It was a brilliant task, i don't want any of them to go but I aint gonna get all annoyed about it. Then again the bit when they asked about the secret couple ruined it.

They completed the task and won it and then BB told them!

This was one of my favourite tasks ever and they've just ruined it!

This is unbelievable!

Lol what? The task has been great but it was a crap ending, what is teh point in BB telling them there was a couple in the house? It contradicts the whole task.

Exactly Billy! The whole point of the task has just gone to waste and BB practically spoon fed the other housemates to get the task right...

Tbh it is. They basically made a mockery out of the task.
Once again a potentially good twist/task goes balls up on Big Brother.

Magic
08-06-2008, 04:00 PM
I am annoyed, I loved the task but not the way it was finished.
Maybe BB could of gone a diffrent way about it.

EG, at the end of the wedding housemates may have to choose people who suit most, and Mario and Stephanie couldnt be matched together. And then if Lisa and Mario were paired up, they faced eviction.

Emilee
08-06-2008, 04:01 PM
They didn't think the end of the task through., they made a bad decision and ruined the end of the task.

hmm its a shame those four are up for nomination i dont like steph but i think she probably has a lot more to offer us so if she goes it will be a shame but at the same time id rather her go over luke.Im not that fussed if Mario or Lisa go.Id rather they won the task though then we could have got shot of some of the dead wood in there

I agree with your perspective on those four housemates.

Yeah they didn't think up an end - they realised it would have been too difficult to not only work out that Steph and Mario weren't a couple. but that Lisa and Mario are! None of them would even think that there is a couple there. I wouldn't have crossed my mind if I went in. SO BB had to go in with a quick fix and ruin it.

If the point of the task was to hide a secret relationship, Big Brother asking the group who the secret couple was, is incredibly contradictory.

They clearly don't want to lose Sylvia or Alexandra.

The housemates correctly guessed the couple, I don't see how it could be a fix. The housemates could have picked anybody.

Tom
08-06-2008, 04:06 PM
Well at first they were saying Steph and Dale. Not a fix methinks

Now had BB not said anything and the secret mission just stopped with no climax, people would start calling it a fix to keep those four in.

They're in a lose-lose situation.

Jack_
08-06-2008, 04:07 PM
Not only this but I wanted to see the housemates real reaction when they found out that Mario and Lisa were the real couple.

I think they did a pretty damn good job, nobody was even near guessing about Mario and Lisa and then they went and ruined it.

Typical BB style, well done.

Yes, but BB8 was dreadful anyway, and they clinged to Charley because she was the only one who was half entertaining. I didn't like her myself, but it's all in the past now.

They had to play it fair. Plus, they had to give the other housemates to try and work it out. Had they had not told the other housemates, nobody was going to say "Oh, and Mario & Lisa are a secret couple". They had to give the other 12 a equal chance to save themselves, as they did with the other four.

Had Steph, Mario, Lisa & Luke worked harder - the other 12 would not have guessed it so easily.

They lost fair and square.

It defeats the whole point of the task, and is really unfair. Sure, it's kept people gripped, but not in the right way. Mario/Lisa were actually doing really well - it must have been difficult for them, what with Lisa having to act indifferent and Mario being quite trapped. Steph's been whiny and annoying, agreed, but I also think this is really unfair on her because it's hard enough having to cope with entering the BB house without all this.

None of these 4 deserved to be up because they haven't truly experienced BB as they've constantly had to lie. I'd like to see more of all of them, particularly how Lisa/Mario continue as a couple. It'll be interesting to see who goes, but apart from that BB's interference was unnecessary.

WELL THEN
when BB gave them a minute to work out who the real couple is
why didn't Luke say "OH, it's me and Steph?"
Luke+Lisa were meant to stop them finding out that they were a real couple.

It's good TV but I do think it's stupid....Lisa & Mario stick out like a sore thumb, even if Mario & Steph did an ace job of covering it up (they didn't), everyone would've still guessed them.

So it's not necessarily unfair in my eyes, just a lame way to end the task. I don't think it really would've mattered what they did.

Brilliant task once again ruined by BB cheating interference.

Out of the 4 characterss Luke is the weakest link entertainmenet wise. On the other hand the temperament of Steph makes for an entertaining housemate......

Just like BB have sabotaged the outcome so will the public sabatoge BB9 by evicting Steph an entertaining housemate....BB so called fans will; never never never learn that the show has 13 weeks to run and you should not repeat should not evict housemates that cause controversy in the early days.....

Looking at the poll that's exactly what so called BB fans will do.......Sabotage BB9 like they have previous BB's.....

I thought it was a great task up until this point, they've just meddled with things far too much my liking.I don't think it was too difficult to guess who a real couple were when you're presented with the fact there is one, it's hardly like the options were that varied.

In hindsight it would have been better if the real task would have been to guess if the wedding between Mario and Steph was legit or not.It would have been much fairer for all involved.

awful idea, there is no point in a task if it's just going to end with BB basically saying "can you figure out the two most obvious people in here that are a couple...you know...one of them will probably be right in front of you right now...in a tuxedo...which woman do you think is his real girlfriend"

it's a shame, because they DID pull it off...even if there were the usual "oh this is a task" whisperings, they ALL wanted a party (with the exception of a certain female who wants to stand out) I would hope that they do a double twist like a few people are saying in here, and say that the 12 are up...but that's not going to happen...and we all know that.

if this is a "FIX" I don't really know why they'd do that...as...the 4 have been a lot more watchable than most of the 12, with the exception of Darnell, Mickey (the girl they keep saying looks like Jennifer Love Hewitt but looks nothing like her) and a couple others...that I can't quite recall right now.

I really hope this is the first and last mistake that BB makes this year...can't have anymore bullsh*t not after last year...and that...thing called Charley :(

anyway "Alex" and "Bex" :bored: out asap can't stand either of them...for very different reasons...Bex is the more obvious reason...SHE JUST WONT SHUT THE FUDGE UP (which is weird...as fudge would probably be the only thing she would shut up for ) :elephant: (<good use of smiley)
