Just imagine turning on the TV and seeing your Mum shouting at about 10 other people all at one go...

Swearing at them, pushing them to tears.

Her daughter must be proud of her sharp-tounged, nasty little Mum. Poor kid...

Believe me, she's from Croydon. EVERYONE here is like that.

I know she is nasty, but I find her funny  I laughed when Alex, Sylvia and Jen went out to the wedding and Jen said "aw it looks nice" and Alex said "I like my hair, but thats about it"

You're having a laugh aren't you? She will be gone the first week that she is up.

She will be gone next week, after her constant arguing tonight with every housemate she's got no chance of surviving.

I think questioning someones ability to parent is a bit too far, too.

Maybe she's such a good parent she doesn't allow her daughter to watch BB, which is not what can be said for all of us on here.
Owwwch.

(Btw, the above point wasn't to say 'we all have bad parents' - it was more to prove a point that questioning someones parenting on pure assumptions isn't fair).

Anyway, I don't have a problem with Alex - she stands up to bullies and makes her voice heard. She could do it with a bit more diplomat but she's not in Big Brother to form a discussion panel.

If she has a young daughter and she is a good parent why is she even in the house? It could potentially be months that she is away from her! I would never go into the Big Brother house if I had children, I know what responsibility is.

Im not saying shes a bad parent though?
I never said she wasnt a good parent.

What Im saying is, if that was MY mum, I would be cringing seeing her act the way she is.

The comparisons to Charley are insulting to Alex. She's ten times better than Charley ever could be. I do think Alex needs to use a bit more tact and diplomacy but I think she's one of the best HM's in there.

Rachel stood up for her, Alex made her cry but Steph stood up to her and shuit herup

If that is so then comparison with the Mikey incident is ridiculous. Mikey did something the he surely knew was going to p*ss somebody off. Thus if he was then dressed down because of that I dont see anything wrong.

I wouldn't bring her daughter into this, mainly because I don't think it's our place to say whether she is a good mum or not. Parenting is looked at in different ways and I am not one to criticise. Maybe her daughter isn't watching her mum on there? I wouldn't want to - especially not if I'm a mere 7 years old. I'd still be watching cartoons and playing Barbie.

Slightly more seriously, Alexandra's language and attitude is certainly despicable, and I am in no way condoning it. However, what she does say sometimes makes a lot of sense - she should just do it in a better manner. The difference with her and other 'loud' BB characters from the past is that Alex hasn't secured lots of fans because she hasn't shown herself to be likeable. But she just wants to make herself heard, and frankly, doesn't give a **** what others think. Whether that's good or bad is debatable.

Just for everyones information - not EVERYONE in Croydon is like Alex - in fact she is an emabassment to a town that already has a bad rep.
Maybe Markus hangs around with that class of people but I know black people, white people, mixed race people etc and no one I know acts like she does! Don't get me wrong - I see people of all races acting just as ignorant as Alex but please don't think everyone in Croydon is like that! Everyone town has their bad people, but not every town gets their bad person shaming them in public!
I just can't stand the forceful way in which she argues. She can't listen to reason and really needs to calm down on thigns that aren't invloving her. She is always gettin involved in peoples business - can you imagine if anyone tried to do that to her? I can imagine the foulness that would escape from her mouth. From a supposdley successful woman with allegedly good job, why she can't get her point across without getting all ghetto is beyond me! We've seen her speak rationally but she is way to up and down for my liking

I concur Killian!! Unless she keeps her head down the Wed, Thurs and Fri - if she goes up for nomination - barring someone doing something really sexist/racist/murderous etc - she will be out!
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe she is a wondeful, thoughtful, caring woman that just hasn't had a chance yet! I doubt that very much but we'll see!
