Where is this "tougher" Big Brother that we were promised?

From what I can see, the housemates have has it easy this year. They have been requesting things, and BB just handing them over.

Like just now BB gave Dennis four new pairs of black underwear because Dennis "dont wear green". How stupid is that!?

Also, I think BB should have sent Alexandra to jail for her behaviour last night. So far the jail hasnt been used, despite housemates breaking the rules. I have seen housemates more the once, smoke outside of the ashtray.

I'm very disappointed in BB, so far. The show has been good, but BB needs to stick by what he promised.

Makes you wonder what Alex would have to do to get put in the bb prison doesn't it!

Thought that if they smoked outside of the ashtray they would be punished aswell.

Nevertheless, the theme of this series is supposed to be Zero Tolerance and so far BB hasn't done anything to prove this. It's about time they begun to do so.

All this George and Zezi in boot camp getting shouted at and stark and dark black and red eye was marketing spin.

As soon as I saw the colourful house I knew it wasn't going to be Abu Grabe. (http://www.smeggys.co.uk/big_brother_news_topic.php?match=ALL&news_topic=101445&page=1)

Marketing Spin back fired this time I think. I'm still enjoying the show though

Publicity stunt guys. I think Big Brother UK is strarting to get the 'BB Australia' syndrome: they promise but nothing happens.

It's annoying now. I had high hopes for this, and the solitary confinement room too.

All talk; no play.

I haven't seen any zero tolerance yet and there have been a few situations it could have been used in.
We better start seeing it soon

They're going to surprise them with it, I trust the BBUK producers for some reason. It's going to be a huge shock for the housemates when it happens.

This is the only way it's going to work. They're going to have to suddenly come down hard - after lulling them into a false sense of security suddenly tackling them about things will be worse than just the initial zero tolerance.

However, if they do suddenly start using it - but only subjectively and sometimes - I'm really gonna lose trust in the producers.

I totally agree... we may only be a week in, but so what?? Big Brother should have been putting these plans into action since Day 1!

I was really disappointed when Alex didn't go to jail - or that solitary confinement room (which would have been more suitable for Alex, hehe)... the series so far has been great, but that's one of the let-downs for me so far. Hope he gets cruel mega-soon!

I'm going to pretend like this week is Big Brother giving them a calm before the storm.

But if BB doesn't start cracking down next week I'm gonna be angry!

That prison cell is getting mighty cold.

I would love to have Alexandra in it before she gets kicked out. :bouncy:

Hehe, yes... a week to settle in before Big Brother gets down to business. I like the sound of that!

Definitely I was so angry and disappointed in BB last night, Alex was intimidating, threatening and bullying others. She didn't even get a warning... just some advice.

Zero Tolerance better come into affect very soon because there have been no signs of it so far.

Oh really? Cool!

Maybe on Friday after the interview Davina will hand over to BB and there will be the twist then. I would like to think that BB has a record of all the rule breaks and will just punish them all at once for all the rule breaks during week 1 and they won't have a clue what's going on!

People have got to stop throwing around the word "bullying". Seriously, people. Having arguments, and being a bitch, is not arguing. This is what BB is all about. We're suppose to have characters to hate! :pat:

Well she's not bullying anyone in particular, she's not fussy like that! She's just a general bully and will just pick on anyone! She thrives on conflict.
