Alexandra specifically told Rex on many ocassions to leave her stuff alone and he said he would but he just kept on doing it.i thought that was extremely selfish and ignorant of him.i dont realy like him anymore now.

It was only a lighter. A bit of an over reaction don't you think?
It was a lighter, plus he did ask to borrow when he got Darnell to ask for it so no he ain't selfish.

Exactly. And she said "Tell him to F off"

He kept on doing it because Alex was being extremely rude: if she had perhaps explained how she felt in a calmer manner (although, I have to admit, I personally thought her logic was flawed) - he might have listened. I don't think he should bother with her at all - it's a waste of time. And I respect Rex - because after Alex's trip to the DR, and when she told Rex exactly what annoyed her, he took what she had to say maturely.

I believe so. And that was wrong, but I would not leave them lying around. I am not condoning his actions but she always totally over reacts and is very aggressive with it.

I could understand if he'd taken something abit more value but it was a lighter it's not exactly something to get worked up about. Rex didn't do anything wrong, fair enough he took one of her cigarettes but he admitted it no1 else did and he wasn't the only one who smoked one.

Yeah but she has taken a dislike to him now, so she will just be awkward for the sake of it.

I think its the other way round. She leaves the room most times someone confronts her so she clearly doesn't like anybody telling her anything. The lighter incident was spiteful on Alex's part as she singled Rex out as the only person in the house who was not allowed to use it. I think he coped well even though he seemed to be grovelling by the end. I see Alex avoiding Rex not the other way round. And its simply because he stands up to her.

Also, note that Alex calls Rex every name under the sun when he's not in the room. She even went to the diary room as well to run him down. She doesn't seem to be up for a row with Rex.
