Why are Finally using the £1 per person per day for the first time in like 2 years again it makes it seem a lot tougher than just "Basic Rations"
Anyone agree or could you just not care less

It seems they are always on the £1 per person, per day in bb. I'm a bit bored of it tbh. If they get more money, they can buy more alcohol! And in many ways, a happier house is better. I get sick of hearing people whinging about fags or lack there-of.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't £1 per head per day been the basic shopping budget for a while?

With food inflation at about 15% they are going to be hungry on £1 per person per day.

i don't mean the fact that the housemates have £1 per day i mean the fact that BB is using the terminology for the first time since BB6 again
For BB7 and 8 they just said Basic Rations which doesn't really mean anything compare to £1 per day

They did in series early than BB6 but then in BB7 they used Basic Rations and Luxury Shopping Budget
Does it really matter whether it's referred to as £1-per-head-per-day, or basic rations :puzzled:

It give me a kind of feel to what they have to work with Basic Rations can mean anything really. I just feel a figure gives it more depth to what is at stake for the housemates than just a word which is up to interpretation
Be honest, you just like the way Marcus says it, don't you?

the only problem with it is that bb for some reason has different price to the normal world so where a roll of toliet paper in the outside world is like 30p in the house it is something like 5p
