I know you have talked about this already, but that bedsit!

The only thing that seperates it from your typical student gaf is the lack of plates with congealed fried egg and fag ends, overflowing sink and draining board full of dirty crockery, clothes hanging off every possible surface, overflowing ash trays, posters of Hendrix and some scantily clad maidens.

You'd think BB would have gone for the complete look, wouldn't you?

They must have really enjoyed going into competition against all the uncrupulous landlords at the local cheapo auction for that lot.....

Mind you, the wall paper is almost en vogue again....

Austin Powers would be proud of the BB bedsit

Oh it truly is ghastly! Can you imagine being cooped up in that for a week with any combination of those three housemates? I'd rather pull my fingernails out one by one.

Same here!

Will we be able to get coverage of both the bedsit and the bb house? just wondering??:conf:

Amy

I was wondering that too! I hope so, I'd like to see how they cope in there but with only one live feed available on this years E4 I can't see that happening http://www.cheesebuerger.de/smilies/traurig/6.gif

Hooly One

I agree, maybe you'll get to see the coverage live on the internet.

Which is unfair if they do:bawling:

I think you'll probably get to see them in the bedsit on BBLB and the 10pm show

Amy

It's a shame the E4 feed does not have more screens. The Internet feed is the same as the E4 feed.

Hooly One

Is it??? well that isn't on!:bawling:

The only thing i'm disappointed with bb5, is the lack of Interactive feeds on E4

Amy
11-06-2004, 01:16 PM
Same here! I expect they will keep swaping from house to bedsit on just the one feed.

Hooly One
11-06-2004, 01:20 PM
That's what i'm thinking, it would be even more disappointing if they did that.

They should at least have two or three Interactive feeds, so bb fans could switch between the bb house and the bedsit

Quite agree the bedsit deserves full coverage all of its own. Do we yet know how long they have to stay in there. Cant wait for their (and the others) reaction when they are returned. The second-hand store next to us has better furniture than they have in that room. Wonder if they will be given short rations too.

It's pretty garish - I hope they don't focus too much on the bedsit rather than the actual BB housemates. I think even Austin Powers would turn down that room, lol!

It will be untill next friday amy

On BBLB one of the producers said they are not saying how long they will stay in the bedsit for. has that changed since then??

I only heard the 8 day rumour from the BBgossip site, it might not be true

I know that the original plan was for the housemates to return to the house on the Wednesday, after the completion of the weekly task - with their return either being a 'reward' or a 'punishment'... quite what those options are, well, we can but only guess.

The moment the two housemates walk back in to the house the faces on the others will be classic!.

At least the people in the bedsit miss the saturday night task, which can only be a good thing!

Hooly One

I agree, they will probably love the fact they don't have to take part in the task.

I'm just looking forward to what Ahmed'll be doing... muhaha, shame I can't really mention that on Eforum tonight though :bawling:

Ah well, I'll just dwell on the fact he's liable to go mad

If anyone's interested, and wants to catch what I, the mighty (er) dustmite sounds like, tune into Efourum on e4 at 7pm... I should appear as a phone caller (Mark from Shrewsbury) in the first half... ok, back to panicking now.

I don't get E4, so didn't manage to see this - but good on you for getting on there. For anyone else, as well as me, who missed it, what was it like and what did you say?

dustmite

Well, I'll give the semi-whole story, as I'm not sure whether I can say what may happen next... sooo, here goes:

I sent an e-mail to EFOURUM on the Sunday Evening/Monday Morning during the first week in the house, I received a reply from Jo Larmer on May 31st about my comments, that were mainly towards Kitten being extremely irritating. Over the following weeks her and I had a dialogue about me doing something on EFOURUM, including being on the panel, and yesterday she asked whether I would like to comment on things on the phone.

Early this morning she telephoned me again, briefing me on what I can and can not say, mainly to say that it's a live show with no delay, and as such I mustn't swear, be aware that it's before the watershed, that I mustn't mention brand names, and that I must not mention anything that may be unfounded or unsubstantiated about the housemates.

Then, at 7pm, Don (I think) telephoned me asked if I was ready, and then asked me to hold. Whilst I was on hold, I heard the audio feed from the studio, and waited for my cue. I did miss my cue by about 4/5 seconds, and the dialogue of the call went as follows:

Russell Brand: Mark, well Mark's on the phone, what do you want from the show? What are you saying, mate?

Me: Well, I think that the majority of the housemates aren't really going made, and most of them are putting it on, but the others, like Emma and Marco are just being completely childish as that's really what they are.

Russell Brand: Mmmmm

Me: But, Ahmed, I think that Ahmed's really losing his complete grip on reality...

*laughter from the audience*

Russell Brand: I see

Me: I mean, we've had it twice now that he's lost his temper now in a way, like we have seen with the arguments that he's had with Marco and Emma..

Russell Brand: Yeh

Me: But with his plate throwing episode he really did lose his complete cool there.

Russell Brand: He upped the ante with that plate smashing didn't he? That was a bizarre way to express yourself, I would have to concur with that Mark...

Me: What I think will be particularly interesting though is how he will cope with tonight, since he won't be going home whatever happens...

Russell Brand: Yeh, exactly.

Me: But I think he's either going to complete lose it or walk... but if he does completely lose it I have this mental image of him rocking in the corner whilst chanting 'redrum', in the best shining method that he's got.

*laughter and some clapping from the audience*

Russell Brand: I really hope not Mark, because that would be insighting people to murder, I would prefer if they just got a bit saucy, like Michelle has been since getting the nominations, she's been upping the game by being a little bit more.. bit more of a harlet... let's be honest, let's have a look at her behaviour...

*cut to VT of Michelle's behaviour*.

Don then returned to the phone and thanked me for taking part.
