View Full Version : The Pattern never changes?

First it was Sada, then Penny, then Lynne, then Anouska, then Kitten.. kinda, then Mary, then Bonnie, last year it was Shabnam, and now, it's Stephanie?
Will this ever change? It's really strange isn't?

Yeah it is a very strange pattern. Maybe one day eh? We can always hope for BB10!

BB manipulates the show far too much in my opinion. It was obvious from the start Steph would fail that task- BB told them there was a secret couple anyway- they were bound to guess that it was Mario and Lisa
So pathetic manipulation by BB sealed Stephs fate as much as anything...

Indeed. Watch, a man will win.

No, not always does a man win it. I think it might belong to Kathreya this year...

A lot of it is coincidence though...not in this case but in past BB's where they have done legit nominations. If the wrong boys would've been up in particular seasons, they would be gone. Sezer certainly would've been first if he'd gone up early...I really did think the pattern would be broke this time but ah well.

From the moment they said to the other housemates "there's a secret couple in the house"- they might as well have just said "Steph, you are evicted"...

Hopefully Mario will be out soon.

that is, unfortunately, true. i did think for a while these last few days though, that mario would go because of steph standing up to alex, and mario being a total, erm... yeah you know what i'm trying to say without saying.

It wouldn't made a diffrence really, beacuse if the 12 would've been up, a WOMAN would also been evicted, Alex would be out in blink of an eye.

Don't forget that the majority of the viewers are female and it is a well known fact that women hate other women and will cast more severe judgement upon them.
Male versus Female, most of the time the female is evicted as the teenage girls vote to save the hunk.

I really wish it was Mario that left.
It takes something VERY VERY special for a woman to win... Kate had something brilliant about her and Nadia, well she used to be a man so that made her very unique!
While it doesn't take much for a man to win if there's no other dominant HM... Cameron, Anthony...
This year I think it will be Kat. She has what it takes to be a female winner!

I think it's because it takes the girls a couple of weeks to show their true potential, men aren't generally as bothered and have the cards on the table from the start whereas the girls tend not to loosen up until further into it. Therefore they are likely to be the first to go

Absolutely no chance
the winner will have a Y chromosone as according to the usual pattern.
Legally Nadia is still a man, the UK does not recognise gender swaps and several years ago a case brought by a man who had had a gender realignment was taken to the European court to force a change in the UK, and he lost.
Women hate women and want the hunks to win and all the females to be shown the door.
It will thus ever be the case
Sorry

If that be the case then the internet polls on the final day would have reflected hostile female voting also. I see no reason do think there are not plenty of young females voting on internet polls.
Gamblers fix for reasons already described.....BB8 was a gamblers fix resulting in dim wit Brian winning...
The audience reaction on BBBM clearly indicated Mario more unpopular. All recent internet polls gave the same indication. The bookies for what they are worth gave the same indication. CH4 web site poll gave 50% Mario. 30% Steph.....
and yet the final result is said to be that steph got 48% of the vote.
If anyone continues to believe there is not something seriously wrong with BB voting then all I can say they must have their heads so far in the sand that they should be able to describe the earths crust.....

No WOMEN DON'T HATE WOMEN!!! This theory is rediculous and seems to be said everytime a female gets evicted or disliked. If a woman goes then a women goes, it's nothing to do with sex, it just is what it is

Ya but it's not like Kat is a Steph or Lisa or Makosi type of character... I think she's even more appealing to women than Kate Lawler was. I couldn't imagine anyone else winning... unless Dale wins just for being the hunk which would be awful.

I don't agree Steph went because all women hate women or that they are all jealous but there will be some women who feel this way. I often find women have more problems with other women on bb than they do with men- just look at some of the crap that gets posted on forums about them- things like 'how ugly is Steph in the morning'
I’ve seen loads of bitchy threads about her- usually over something really trivial or superficial. I don't see Dale or Rex getting that kind of hate from men just because women find them good looking

Whaa? From thousand of posts, every time (Well mostly) I see that it's THE LOOKS that judges who they like, not the personality, Stephanie was hot! Why didn't we save her? you looked into personality, but I don't find Dale interesting at all, and he's fav on almost every person's signature. Beacuse of his looks. I love Kat, she's unique, and well, she's hilarious.

I'm glad Stephanie's gone personally (she nearly ballsed up the best secret mission since Makosi was in the house). But I do think it's stupid that it's always a female that goes first. I think they should split the house into a male camp and a female camp, and then the loosing team in tasks should be the ones up for eviction or the only ones able to be nominated. That way if the women win, they don't go.

If that happened, the womans camp would still lose every task because of mardy arsed Alex and Sylvia giving up.

Not if BB made the first task a girly one?

The only reason it is always a female is becaue the females chosen for BB are always shallow wannabes. You never see a nice girl with lots of depth going first.
Stephanie: Shallow, vacuous and so unintelligent, she can't string a sentence together.
Shabnam - unstable, loud, rather foul to be anywhere near.
Bonnie - yuck, talk of common.
Mary - this is the only one that is questionable.
Kitten - what a nasty aggressive character
Anoushka - She was loud, shallow and vile.
Didn't watch before then, but the only reason they all went so early on was their shallow wannabe personalities, which the public never like. It's noting to do with being women, per se, it's to do with the fact that the women on BB are often foul, shallow creatures.

Well I don't the task should be unfair and that would be unfair.
I think bb is good when they push housemates but they all deserve an equal chance of reaching the final on their merits and not bb's manipulation- that's why we had nominations in the first place. The idea was to make a good impression on the people in the house if you wanted to survive.
Now it seems completely random who gets to stay and who goes- stupid tasks that are unfair on certain housemates- constant messing with nominations in recent series'- twists that favour certain housemates over others.
It really spoils the show in my opinion.

Yes but it would make them take part in tasks, would still involve nominations (only that the winning team would be immune and would do the nominating).
Though people would cry fix if it was a girly task, there again, they'd also cry fix if another woman left first.

I could say the same about half the men they were up against...
Tonight, classic example- 'Mario': arrogant, argumentative, pretentious, but Steph STILL goes

In who's opinion? I don't think they are good qualities for a housemate. I find Mario both boring and annoying- he is also just as much a wanabe as anyone else in there, if not more so.
Apparently, him and Lisa have even been on tv before. Don't kid yourself, they want cheap fame BAAAD!

Stephanie did not have a Y chromosome, which is why she went.
That is the pattern and it will never change.
There are so called exceptions, but these occurred because normal rules of play got skewed
Kate only won, because Channel 4 were lining up Alex for the crown as he was a model who poor thing was slightly inconvenienced in his modelling career by 9/11. This helped motivate the backlash against him.
Nadia is a man - no matter what he calls himself. Legally in the UK he is a man and that was confirmed by another case in the European court of Human Rights. Trans Gender people are deemed legally to be the gender they were born with. He won because of PC.
Shilpa - a manufactured by the press race issue which was not there meant it was not PC to vote for anyone else.

And at the end of the day, there were a lot more boos for Mario than Steph at that eviction. Not that I favor either, but the one with the Y chromosome was the one people currently wanted to evict more (I believe Steph just racked up too many votes at the beginning of the week). I couldn't even count how many 090909090909's were shouted in the chat rooms. I think it has a lot more to do with coincidence and not some strict unbreakable law that all females must lose. For instance, all girls were nominated first in seasons 1, 2, 3, and 7 so it really had nothing to do with the public disliking women over men, it would've been a woman regardless.
And you can excuse away most of the male wins just as easily as you excuse the female wins (and I do consider Nadia a female no matter what the government says)...Anthony won because of Makosi's pregnancy debacle, Craig won because there were no other contenders, Pete won because he has tourettes, etc.
Not to mention, on a whole BB casts the females far more negatively than the males. There's usually only one or two positive females in any given house, and usually one or two negative males.
