Which moments of TV history have made you feel incredibly emotional, start bawling your eyes out, or made you feel differently about life?

I must admit, that I cried like a little girl when Nana died in The Royle Family. Watching everybody say goodbye to her was incredibly sad...and they're all fantastic actors.

I occasionally get this in Desperate Housewives too; one particular example when Gabrielle confided in Lynette about watching her father die, and her being scared of Lynette's cancer. That was also very emotional.

When Denny dies in Grey's Anatomy. I'm an absolute mess!

Although I cry at Grey's all the time,I've watched about 5/6 episodes of it today and I cried sooo much! I'm gonna be a great nurse

I cry a LOT at Desperate Housewives. I think it's because over the years you get to understand the characters and so feel empathy moreso.

I also once cried at South Park.

That bit was very moving

'You're breaking my heart' That line is what got me.

I don't cry at the TV or films much but i do get moved quite a bit. Buffy moved me when she died and when she had to kill Angel. In Angel i was moved when Angel realised that Cordellia had died.

Also, Ethel's and Jamie's deaths in Eastenders.

Doctor Who episodes that moved me:

Girl in the fireplace
Doomsday
Forest of the dead.

I'll probably think of others later.

I've only really shed a tear or two for the Best Bits of any season of Big Brother because I know that I won't get to actually see them ever again unless they're selling their soul to the tabloids.

I'm more moved by movies than TV, I think it's the commercials that breaks the emotions.

I cried for about 3 hours solid after seeing the last episode of the first season of the o.c! Seth sailing away, ryan going back to chino, summer deserted by seth, and to top it off they have to play probably one of the saddest songs ive heard! damn you jeff buckley!! :bawling:

8 simple rules - when paul died! Sniff! Even more sad because the actor actually died in real life!

When Will's dad walked out in fresh prince of bel air! Very sad scene with will and uncle phil.

Right. Great. Now i i'm thinking of death and sad things!!!!!!

When the dog in the Animal Hospital was being taken away to be put down and the owner was crying. Well... anytime an animal is being taken away to put a down.

Desperate Housewives gets me. Oh, and when Charlie died in Lost. Oh, and when Nana Royle passed away.

Great, now I'm getting depressed and morbid-ish.

I think the most ive EVER cried at TV was definately Paul's death on 8 Simple Rules. I cant actually watch it without crying. I'm emotional thinking about it. Its not only the fantastic acting from the cast but the emotions are real due to the death of John Ritter. It truly is amazing TV.

Nana dying in The Royle Family was very sad.
Phoebe giving birth to the triplets in Friends
Monica and Chandler discovering they cant have kids in Friends
The last episode of Friends
Nadia winning BB

Possibly the most embarrassing was a few years ago when I got emotional watching Bob The Builder Christmas Special lmfao. I laugh now but it was really happy. He had a concert and he thought his brother wasnt gonna be there and he made it :) Good times :P

I don't think I've cried over a tv show. Maybe they showed a movie on TV, but I don't remember.
