The housemates might get chips on their shoulders when they find out what today's Task is - they're going to have to sort 6,250 grams of potato crisps into four different flavours by licking them with their very own tongues!

A giant heaped bowl of Salt 'n' Vinegar, Cheese and Onion, Worcester Sauce and Ready Salted crisps will be plonked in the garden. Housemates must then lick every single crisp, decide what flavour the little blighter is, and chuck it into the correct crisp bag.

Big Brother will give the housemates a token if they sort the crisps into the right flavours, but nothing if they fail. And they're not allowed to, um, 'packet in' before each and every potato chip is sort

We don't even want to think about how Big Brother is going to check that all those spit-covered crisps are in the right packets...

TASK: CRISP LICKING
TX: Highlights show, 10pm Monday 16th June, 2008

For today's task, housemates will be required to sort 6,250 grams of potato crisps into four different flavours.
Big Brother will place in the garden a giant bowl of salt and vinegar, cheese and onion, Worcester sauce and ready salted crisps.
When instructed to do so by Big Brother, housemates must lick each and every individual crisp and then allocate it to the appropriately labelled crisp bag. Housemates have two hours in which to sort all 6,250 grams.
Once all crisps have been separated, Big Brother will calculate how accurate housemates have been. Big Brother will permit an error margin of 5 percentage points above or below for each flavour.
If housemates have sorted the crisps correctly they will receive one token. If housemates sort the crisps incorrectly they will receive nothing. Housemates are strictly forbidden from eating any of the crisps at any time. Any housemate caught breaking this rule will face severe consequences.

RULES
o Housemates must wear the uniforms, protective gloves and hair nets provided at all times.
o Housemates are recommended to drink the water provided.
o Housemates are permitted to refill their water bottles.
o Housemates must lick each crisp individually before allocating it to the appropriate crisp bag.
o Housemates are strictly forbidden from eating the crisps at any time before, during or after the task.
o All Housemates must take part in the task.
