Dale - 'like, like, like'

Has enyone noticed that Dale says 'like' every two words... im not kidding, it makes me want to kill myself.

I once had to deliver a speech to the class and someone counted how many "likes" I said as it was a running joke. :rolleyes:

It was something like 147 in the space of three minutes. :laugh:

It is really annoying but people do it without realising (I do sometimes).

I wish he'd stop though, because sometimes what he says can be quite relevant, and the 'like' puts me off. :hugesmile:

I do that sometimes when I don't know what to say or to think about my answer but then I get annoyed when people do that to me. I'm such a hypocrite. :tongue:

I do it all the time. Loads of people do it without realising in the Manchester/Liverpool area. I do it without realising I've said like about 27 times in a sentance.

it isnt dale who prevented this like like. i dont get people. if your from merseyside, that is how alot of those people talk. i have met alot of people who speak like him. so people need to stop acting as if dale is the first person. let me give you some examples.

those are typical things people say.

I do it too. People hate it, but it's just what I do. I grew up around it, and it's just natural for me to say it. You'll find it a lot in the province that I'm in.
