Not sure if many of you enjoy reading but if so,do you know of any good books you could suggest?Im going on holiday (not til sept:tongue:) for two weeks and i need some reading material lol.:thumbs:

I suppose it depends on what you are looking for in a book as to what you might think of as good.

I like James Patterson if I am looking for a bit of crime/detective reading

Terry Pratchet - Good Omens thats so funny yet has a big story to it

Linwood Barclay - No time for goodbye - a really cool story to it

Terry Brooks - fantasy type books

Also look for the 2 for 3 offers in Waterstones you can pick up some decent books that way.

Same! I just finished "Double Cross" by him. It was brilliant :bigsmile: Only one of his I've read though, so I'll have to find more.

If you're a fan of thriller/horrors, then Stephen King is the man you need. Recently read "Cell" and am in the process of reading "Blaze" (by his ghost name Richard Bachman) and "Salem's Lot". But he's most well-known for 'The Shining'.

Erm...I also read politics-related books, but I doubt you're interested in that, lol...

Don't read 'A Clockwork Orange'. It's so difficult :sad: As is Leo Tolstoy.

Just read a fantastic series of his 1st to die right up to 7th something or other! I have also just read dont step on a crack. I have a lot of his books, buy them Shaun do it, do it now you will love them.
