Im a new banner maker buttttt

how do you cut round the pictures so perfect?? im having real trouble with this part it always looks so untidy!!

I just make the pictures much bigger to cut, cos its easier when it's bigger..

then i resize it by shrinking it..

zoom in loads then it is easier. Sorry but lmao at the shape of Dale's head on your banner.
