BIG Brother babe Imogen Thomas has sensationally blasted the show that made her famous – claiming it should be pulled off the box.

The 25-year-old pin-up from Llanelli told Wales on Sunday Big Brother was “fake, boring and full of clones” and that she was so turned off she hoped this year’s series would be the last.

Former Miss Wales Imogen, who starred in Big Brother Seven with drama queen Nikki Grahame and Tourette’s sufferer Pete Bennett, said she is so fed up with the reality show she’s only seen one full episode – adding it needs a drastic makeover to boost the “rubbish” ratings.

“I think it needs to go away now,” she said.

“It needs a break – it should go away for a year or so and come back with a bang.”

Imogen is now a successful l ads’ mag model who has used her high profile to set up a Cardiff nail bar – due to open with a swanky party at a city hotel next month.

And she said she was loathe to use her precious spare time watching Big Brother, which she claims has given viewers nothing but carbon copies of the characters she lived with since they left in 2006.

“Since I was in it two years ago, it’s like everyone’s trying to be clones of BB7,” she said.

“I saw someone trying to act like Nikki and it was pathetic.

“When I see people going into the diary room and putting on stupid voices it’s just embarrassing.”

Imogen, who was portrayed as quiet in the house, gave Wales on Sunday her exclusive tips for Welsh house-mate Rachel Rice to deal with the bullying that has already hit this year’s show, in our interview on pages 22&23.***

“BB7 was the best one apparently – and I agree,” said the other half of Swansea City star Matt Collins.

“We didn’t have any bullying, me and Richard argued at the beginning then sorted it out and that was an argument, not bullying. Ours was a very loving house.

“There’s a lot of bullying going on this year, and maybe that will make people watch.

“But the ratings now are rubbish – people are trying to be like us.

“We had much bigger characters like Pete, who had Tourette’s, which people had never seen before, and Nicky with her childish tantrums., and Aisleyne as the ghetto girl with a great heart, and it was genuinely funny. “Everyone tries too hard now.I’d like to see them be themselves. Since last year I really starting thinking people were just in there for fame and fortune – it’s not like it used to be.”

She is right in the way that since BB7 we had the biggest wannabes, including in BB7 ( Nikki, Aisleyne, Danielle, Charley, Chanelle; Amy, Shanessa).
As much as I didn't like BB7 I do agree that in BB8 and BB9 we saw some 'copy cats' if I can say so.

BB7 was pants! The best BB so far is BB5! It had everything and the famous fight night live, 2 groups with the leaders going to the final, loads! BB7 was just another BB... Nothing great and as for imogen... She was dull and boring that only gets by with her looks, shame on her and if she dont like bb then dont watch it! But i do feel BB use agents to find people to put into the house. Imogen is a wench and will always be a silly lil wench. Rant over. :dance2:

The famous Imobore speaks and who is listening, certainly not me. She was as dull as winters day at the north pole.

We should look at the reason the producers pick people like those in Big Brother 7. May be it is because of what the show has become fueled by all those people that keep going on about how good it was when in fact it was rubbish that year. The housemates were over the top and as fake as lea's boobs and the whole show was spoilt by knowing the winner from day 1.

If BB5 was the best, why doesn't the show call back any of the contestant to particpate on different big brother.

Because most of them have a life now contrary to the wannabes of BB7: Nikki, Aisleyne, Lea... They just live for appearing on those shows.

what? Lol i have seen plenty of bb5 housemates on tv but theres plenty of good housemates in other bb's aswell. For me BB5 and BB3 is the best so far and BB7 and BB8 just normal bb's, nothing great. And i like what I like not what others tell me! You may like BB7 more but for me its BB3 and BB5. Imogen was just another lame housemate but some will think she was a cool housemate.

I think Michelle Bass or even Nadia would love to be still in the limelight, there is nothing wrong being a wannabe, Nikki gets called back and is an employee of edemol so it is right that they call her back.

I agree what she trying to say i mean bb was best in bb7 Pete what a legend but when she says people are trying to be like US she means like the entertaining people Like pete, nikki and ashlyln. Becuase if she means being like her does that mean really fit but just sits there not play spin the bottle like the others

it's true what she's saying, at least some of it. there's never been this much aggression in bb7. this year's show was only two weeks in and they've booted Alex and Dennis for being aggressive. and Sylvia who was evicted liked to pick fights with people. What they did in bb7 was harmless child's play compared to some of the stuff that's going on now. they should learn to LOVE, not HATE

if u know r facts bb7 was one of the top 3 in a officially bb poll and nikki gets on to bb spin-offs because she is funny a legend and has great potential and appear es on a lot of shows as well.

most entertaining housemate of them all won awards tops many polls on most loved most popular and best entertainer polls is still talked about and asked back because shes great nothing u can do about it so stop sprouting your rubbish got it.
