Ifore responds to forum complaints

Big Brother's Little Brother host Zezi Ifore has responded to complaints about her presenting skills.

The 23-year-old multi-media self-promoter said she wasn't bothered by the "spitefulness" of Big Brother forum users and claimed there were plenty of people who thought she was doing a "good job".

"Good to luck to them," she told Metro. "I don’t have time to post crap on forums at 2am.

"I’ve got hundreds of people on MySpace telling me I do a good job but, on the flipside, you get people saying the opposite. They’re within their rights."

She added: "There are things I don’t like on TV but I’d never dream of posting them on a forum. There are other things to do. Watch something else, talk to your friends, have a beer, buy some shoes.

"All that spitefulness doesn’t affect me. I’m not sitting at home crying into my tea."

Why does she think it's spiteful anyway? She must know she's not very good surely! How deluded is she?!

And she wouldn't dream of posting what she didn't like on tv on a forum?! Why not? It's hardly a crime! That's the kind of thing people post on forums.

As for watching something else, yeah it does turn me off bb which is a shame because I used to like it when dermot presented it...

I am so glad she did that. Some forum members are just that spiteful. They would sit in front of their computers all day,bumping up the how horrible zezi is thread,just to keep it going. Fair enough,criticize her presenting skills, but when you keep attacking her on a daily basis, about her appearance and everything else. I would call them spiteful as well. I havent seen one of those people acknowledge the fact that she's been better everyday, and yes she has technical difficulties, but from what I see, she does better all the time. But she is right, some people just have too much time on their hands

Well the fact to me is, she is telling the truth. I am sure she is new to PR, so she is not exactly polish about how to handle criticism, but like her presenting skills, that will all come in time. Its just that some people are absolutely mean spirited, and it seems they only watch to criticize. Like thats their goal in life!

I understand,but why would she bother? We all know FMs main purpose is to look at negatives. Her audience are not the FMs anyways. They all claimed they cant watch zezi,so fair enough if you ask me.

But I still think she is an awful presenter! It's like she's had no training whatsoever. I could literally go and present bblb as well as she does right now! I think anyone could.

when 80% of the criticism she gets are obviously from bitter childish people, she is bound to be crossed by them. If I was her, frankly I wouldnt bother with them. I actually like BBLB now, which I didnt before, because with dermot, it felt like a robot. I knew exactly what he would say, what he would do, the jokes he would make, and he was very biased. These guys are funnier in my opinion, they just need to be given time to improve. They are bound to struggle, since everyone is so used to dermots usual gimmicks.

yeah...only use the forum if you aren't going to say anything bad...has she ever seen a forum before...I think she's gotten off quite lightly.

But I don't think 80% are. I don't rate her as a presenter at all! Lots of others don't. I realise some are a bit childish in how they word it but that's all it is at the end of the day. I think saying people are "bitter" is a bit of an exaggeration.

I mean it is a forum- people will talk about the good and bad at the end of the day and she does make a lot of mistakes on the show- she can hardly expect nobody to mention them.

Can I ask all the people who are defending her - Do you honestly think she's a good presenter?

I've seen her twice once on the first day and again on Sunday because someone told me she had improved. She hadn't not even a little bit and I'll tell you why.

If she was presenting the show on her own ie running into every breaks, coming out of every breaks, inteviewing every guest, introducing every article etc then I too would probably be saying give her a chance but, BBLB last for 30 minutes, probably 22 minutes discounting breaks. George is the main presenter so he gets the most screen time so, lets face it, she's on screen for about 5 - 8 minutes each episode and she cant even get that right.

She's terrible. There is no nice way of putting it. She looks like she unde rrehearsed everything, she fumbles over her words, on sunday there was one point where she repeated the same phrase about four or five times after a guest got a question right, she failed to properly introduce the item she did out side with Steph She was absolutely atrocious. If I was her I'd be rehearsing my ass off and I dont think she is. She strikes me as unprofessional and seems to think she can wing it, which she cant. She's got to go. For the integrity of the programme. They've got to replace her.

I think there will always be people that say they think she's great. Maybe because now, anyone that says anything negative has been labelled 'bitter' or 'spiteful' and they don't want to come across that way (even if it's a load of rubbish).

It's clearly evident she can't present at all. Like GiRTh says, she makes far too many mistakes- she seems completely out of her depth. When she is talking to a guest, I not only feel embarrassed for her, but also the guest she is speaking to!

The whole show is a cringe fest! She only gets a few minutes screen time, it's an insult to all the presenters that didn't get the job that she mucks it up so badly.

I think she is good as well. The fact that she fumbles sometimes makes it funny for me, it doesnt make me hate the show, or wanna switch the TV off. I enjoy BBLB way more than I did last year. And I dont think she should even answer to those clowns on the DS forum. All they do is criticize everything. Even if she was great, they would rip her, so.......who cares. Just carry on Zezi

i have also watched every episode that she has done and for someone that has never presented live tv before i think that she is doing a great job and is clearly improving every day davina even said that we have to give them a chance because thay would be different to dermot i still miss dermot but these 2 people are new and its hard enough to present live tv without people saying how rubbish you are give her a chance shes realy funny and quirky and shes improving and if you dont like it dnt watch it i think there both doing a great job

I'm not hating on her or anything like that. I watched the first show came to the conclusion that I wont be watching BBLB , someone said she improved so I watched another show only to find out she hadn't. It's a shame because I've always watched BBLB and these two show how good Dermot was. He ran the show on his own and it was slick and professional.

I think Zezi seems to have the wrong attitude. As I said before she should be rehearsing and not calling the people who are criticising her.

Demott was boring, predictable, and always had someone he suported. Always had funny clips of brian, and the year before it was glyn. And dont tell me Dermott wasnt **** on Xfactor this year, because he was. And mainly cause he is not the face were use to seein on there, and he was new.

I agree. She makes bblb nigh on unwatchable for me now! I also read that she'd improved but I don't think she has either.

People saying 'don't watch it then' are missing the point. I DID watch bblb when Dermot did it! It's evident lots of people are switching off because of Zezi and the producers of the show need to address that.

Judging by her attitude, it doesn't even seem like the producers have mentioned it to her! If I was them, I'd be telling her she needs to buck her ideas up or she's a gonner!

Basically, let her workit out for herself. If you have employees that are struggling,sometimes, its better to let them figure it out, without putting her under more pressure! They ve all lost viewers. BBBM lost viewers after russell left too. Even the main show lost viewers, plus there is the euro going on at the same time. Its not all down to Zezi

Dermot DID have his favourites I'll give you that.

I think quite a bit of it is down to Zezi though. Maybe you're right, the producers are giving her more time.

I'd think presenting would be quite a high pressure environment too- they don't usually like poeple who just fold under it.

She should be able to take critisism without being childish about it and she should be able to handle the pressure. She'll have beaten loads of people for the role of presenting bblb.

If she can't accept she's not that great and needs to improve, I think they're going to have problems with her. She sounds like a bit of a diva.

We obviously disagree. There's nothing wrong with that.

I remember when Gary Lineker did his first broadcast for BBC Sport. HE was rubbish and received a similar volume of criticism to Zezi, but look at him now. He improved. I'm not saying Zezi wont improve I'm saying she needs to get her head down instead of calling people bitter. The show DOES look under rehearsed. SHe DOES fumble over her words a lot She DOEs fail to properly introduce items. She should be rehearsing instead of reducing her self to the level of so many people who are criticising her.

I remember when Gary Lineker did his first broadcast for BBC Sport. HE was rubbish and received a similar volume of criticism to Zezi, but look at him now. He improved. I'm not saying Zezi wont improve I'm saying she needs to get her head down instead of calling people bitter. The show DOES look under rehearsed. SHe DOES fumble over her words a lot She DOEs fail to properly introduce items. She should be rehearsing instead of reducing her self to the level of so many people who are criticising her.

Dermot DID have his favourites I'll give you that.

i think george is actually worse than zezi. if george was female i think he would be getting a much harder time.

emma griffiths was on bblb the other day, she was a brilliant guest and was a good presenter on im a celebrity's version of bblb. she would be the ideal candidate from bb- shes a genuine fan.

Some of us expect her to better then Dermot when thats pretty unrealistic. She's doing good, yeah she might not have excellent presenting skills but with the change of hosts its refreshing, after all I felt Dermot didn't enjoy the Job anymore, and the show needed a general change and I feel that Zezi and George are doing that.

dermot did enjoy the job and itv gave him a great deal he could not say no to, but bblb is everyday and that did cause problems last year with xfactor recordings etc, he had to say bye bye. Bblb should stick to one host.

BBLB used to be worth watching, now it is made almost unwatchable because of her uselessness on air, I gave her a week to get better...as I couldn't watch the show the way she was in the first few shows...so I went back tonight to see if the people who said she has gotten better were right or not...and they were wrong...she just does not have any presenting skills whatsoever.

I liked to watch BBLB to see what people's thoughts were on certain HM's, but now it's just not bearable...

and if people like you could stop saying "don't watch it" how dare you...just because you obviously have no taste doesn't mean that we should keep quiet about it, she is not good, she will lose BBLB viewers, and that will affect the show in general.

so I for one (and I know I'm not a lone) hope she goes soon, and the sooner the better...

like I said that woman that was on with her, (Faye Sawyer) was so much more natural...I'd quite like to see her having a go at presenting the show.

Zezi and George got hired because they already had C4 contracts and weren't well know so they were CHEAP. Plain, simple, truthful. That is why no one more famous like Connie Huq was hired. i.e. EXPENSIVE.

Are you watching it, really?! Last time I watched, and I mean LAST, was Friday and she was only presenting, very badly, LBBN! They even pretended to toss a coin to see who was going to interview Divina, and, of course, Geroge went as she cannot hold an interview! She was rubbish on the very first day, with Makosi and was worse the next day, I do not recal with who! But, since then, she has not interviewed anyone, just people from the audience!

Funny how she doesn't have the time to 'post crap' on forums but has obviously spent time looking at them.She's made herself look rather silly to be honest,it's a very childish way of responding to the criticism handed out to her.It seems she only has time for those that wish to kiss her backside.

Her whole response to criticism wasn't in the slightest bit professional nor was it in any way a means to shed a positive light on herself. Although I do appreciate that she at least replied to others' opinions, the manner in which she did so, the fact that she judged people as criticising her at 2am and that they should rather drink a beer than indirectly helping Channel 4 to some miniscule extent by providing feedback proves to me that she cannot present herself calmly and respectfully towards her own audience. That in turn worries me because her job is to bring in viewers and offer them quality programming. I'm not sure how much her salary is, but I'm pretty sure it's quite enough money; if she is to earn that money she must do it by hosting a show with a high standard of integrity so that it stands out from the rest of what we see and makes us want to watch. However, I feel that Channel 4 is at fault because they hired her to present the programme and for a broadcaster and its contractor, Endemol, a company with years of experience to hire an amateur who they have seen has little presenting skill should have picked a better host. It also reflects poorly on George who puts in much effort that pays off but is paired with Zezi so his reputation plunges as well.

Why can't she accept criticism? I've posted a fair few comments on how I don't think she's cut out for live presenting, yet I don't 'cry into my tea' (what does that even mean? Well Zezi darling, not everyone has enough spare cash to just 'buy shoes' on a whim. We don't all have disposable incomes from doing a pee-poor job at presenting. Most of us DO have better things to do - such as... ooh, lets see - WORK!? Actually earning a living!!

I watched it last night. George was again the main presenter , he was the one who did the proper one on one interview. Last night he was interviewing the bloke from GMTV who broke his ankle during dancing on ice - Somebody Underwood.

I dont understand why she's there, George seems to do a decent job on his own. I thought her comments during the fashion item were pretty harsh considering she was wearing a dress a woman of her body shape shouldn't really wear. Thats where the problem lies for me, she doesn't seem to say anything worthwhile at all. Add that to her frankly shambolic presenting style and what you get is rather uncomfortable difficult viewing on a show that is supposed to be a bit of fun.

I'm going to keep and eye on her just to see if she improves at all. So far she hasn't.

there are places where presenters go to learn...and that is the larger numbers of digital TV (i.e. QVC those stupid fortune teller channels etc) we should not have to sit and watch someone "learning" their trade...if you can call it that...
