About halfway through the year and whats your highlights?

We're about halfway through 2008, so what have been your best bits of the year so far?

Also, have there been any moments you'd rather not remember?

I became a Nan 2 weeks ago.

Well I've not done much this year not school related so

Graduation and finishing my exams. 6th year in general has been fantastic.

Hmm everythings kinda happening around september time for me ,first half of the year has not been all that exciting,ive just been working and trying to make ends meet.I can not beleive its now half way through the year though,that is SO scary.I guess turning 18 was a pretty big highlight for me:banana:

When I met Chris Jericho twice in a day. That was pretty much amazing. The whole day was awesome, got amazing seats at the WWE raw show and got to meet my all time fave twice. Also got to interact with other wrestlers I see on TV each week.
So yeah that was my highlight of the year.

Hmm...a highlight for me would have to be winning Young Cook of the Year :D
Also, growing my hair's been a pretty good experience :D
I look A LOT better now =]
Something I'd rather forget happened just last night. I found a dying cat. It got run over, and it may not affect others, but it has deeply affected me. I don't know why. It ended up dying and we buried it. But, I wish it had never happened. Ah well..

Had a great year so far, number of highlights for me: leaving school, getting into the course I wanted, seeing Girls Aloud, prom #1 - hilarious!, prom #2 - even better!, winning 'best drunk' of my year at our awards, getting back with an ex, just general things but 2008 has been a blast so far.

Mine is probably seeing X Factor live- it was such an amazing atmosphere.
Also, meeting Grace was amazing.

Seeing Simon Amstell live on Sunday, he was sooo funny <3 I was crying with laughter xD
Oh, and getting tickets to see Dylan Moran live, he was sold out everywhere but Blackburn which is about 30-40 minutes from where I live ;]

Going to London and seeing joseph
going to the x factor tour
Going to see my friend again in cumbria
Going to tenerife
Being obsessed with ashes/ashes life on mars and meeting lots of new friends because of it
being close to a old friend
getting more hours at work
Booking to see al murray next year and going to see it with my friend

Things i wouldnt remember

my aunt/uncle splitting up
my gran breaking her arm and moving down south to care for her boyfriend
