Did Big Brother intentionally feed through the question directed at Mohamed in the Diary Room to the rest of the house, and if so do you think this was cruel ???

I think it was done on purpose. They were clearly having a conversation abput Alex. BB could have asked 'and how did this make you feel?' but they ask 'how did it make you feel that ALEX didnt take part? Why say her name?
It was also quite cruel. Especially since Alex acts like she would decapitate any housmate who is isnt 'ready'. It was unfair and to poor Mo on his bday aswell!!

It seemed intentional. They seemed to fit in the whole sentence.

Thread title edited.
I'm not sure what to think. If BB truly wanted to stir things up, they'd let Alex hear his reply and not the question. Perhaps it was to invoke curiosity.
No, I don't think it was intentional.
The diary room is the only place in the house that the housemates can talk to Big Brother in confidence (unless, obviously, it is part of a twist or task).
Mohamed's conversation with Big Brother was clearly not part of such a twist or task, and as such I believe it was simply a technical error.

i cant decide i thought it was an accident but after reading some of your responses im not sure now

I don't think it was done on purpose, but I can see why people do because was the best thing to let slip into the house to cause entertainment.
I think it was a set-up just to try and cause conflict.
No I think it was an accident. I can see why people do think it was intentional though.
I cant decide tbh
The reason they fit'd in the whole sentence is because they was pressing the button.. duh you dont hit the switch and look if ur in convo if you get me
But it is funny that it was that thing
Aint it in BB rules that all trips to the diary room are confidential. so it must have been a mistake.

i think it was done on purpose as it managed to get the entire question through the broadcaster,

Definitely intentional - Alex's bullying tactics have been attracting BB and C4 bad publicity after the furore following Celebrity Big Brother with Jade, Shilpa, Danielle etc. I think they did it on purpose with the intention of winding Alex up so she went on the warpath and got herself thrown out of the house and it has obviously worked . . . Shame we didn't get to see her evicted - would have love to have seen all the boos!

They know the public don't like Alex and they know Alex is veru fiery,so I doubt they would risk Mohammed being heard when neither the house or the public would be impressed.

Its funny how they managed to finish the sentence, yet block out Mohammed's answer. Quite intentional. Poor Mo didn't realise though & got it in the neck from Alex.

No. The Diary Room mic and the Announcer mic are two different mics. The announcer mic was accidentally switched, but the DR mic wouldn't have been. That's how they managed to get the full sentence but not Mo's answer.

when BB talks to the HM in the Diary Room, they have switches/buttons which they have to press on/off to talk...when they were talking to Mo, the person acting as BB would have pressed the wrong button (by accident) which would be used to talk to the entire house, meaning every speaker...it's very easy to make a mistake like that, if you've ever used that type of mixing desk, you'll know what I mean...you might look away for a second and take your hand off the button, and then come back to it, thinking it's the same button/switch...
they realised as soon as it happened, if it was intentional, they would not have brought Alex and Mo back in and apologised to them both.
it also explains why they only heard BB's side of the conversation...if it was intentional they would have played the whole thing on the plasma's.

How on Earth could they just HAPPEN to play the line, "What do you think about Alex..."
Alex would then be fuming. She would then rule-break, which is what happened. And then she would be thrown out. Wasn't the last fight she had, still with Mohammad the next day?
It sounds all perfectly set up, but one problem: Why would BB want to get rid of one of its biggest stars? Sounds like this would be in reverse from their usual behavior.
The only thing I can think of is that they're trying to restore their image by taking responsibility. Why wasn't she thrown off for all the other times?
Why wasn't she put in jail?
If this wasn't intentional, this must be the biggest coincidence of all time.

I am sure it was done intentionally. They most probably wanted to provoke an argument between Mo and her so they could justify booting her out. She may have been a high profile HM, but for all the wrong reasons. There were so many complaints about her, I don't think they wanted to run the risk of any controversy. Her comments were disgusting, and she definitely deserved to go.
She didn't get ejected from the house for that.

I think it was intentional, they've never made that mistake before so why now? and why Alex of all people? hmm...

"Extract 1
22.17 - in living room discussing the fact that Alex has been nominated
Darnell: Sylvia is keeping it real, said if it had been me, I'd have thrown water over somebody.
Alex: I'm not throwing water at anyone. It's bigger than that. This is three months, do you know what I mean? Three months in a house. Everyone's got to come outside the house. Personal offence is never forgotten, do you know what I mean? We're just inside the house. I've got a very, very, very, very, very strong team outside the house, strong, so solid, strong. I look forward to whatever the result. If I get out first, I get out, make the plans. Everyone's got to come out after that. Every single one of you come out afterwards, remember I told you. Like I say, my team is strong, so strong.
Extract 2
22.20
Alex: I just can't wait to see my mans and them and see what their plans are, who they got…I'm not talking about those mans, I'm talking about my gangster friends.
Darnell: Collabos.
Alex: They got some instructions to follow out.
Extract 3
22.30
Darnell: That’s what I mean… I’ve never seen anything like this, the people in here aren’t real. It’s like that movie ****, like movie people in here.
Alex: If you go you get to make all the plans, that you want to make. When you’re in here you can’t do certain things. In my life I’m used to doing certain things. You know people p**s me off and I do something like. I can’t actually do that while I’m here. But like I say, I get to go out, see everyone’s friends, I get to see their family. I get to do the **** that I want to do. Pow, pow, pow."

i reckon it was intentional 2, it's funny how they played it in2 the house at the exact point they asked the question bout her, it's a bit of coincidence don't ya think. I think the reason y they played it in2 the house was 2 monitor her behaviour and 2 c how she would react 2 give BB a reason 2 evict her, but i can't c y they didnt put her in2 the jail 4 all the other times. Do u reckon BB forgot bout the jail?

I am sure it will come into play later on. It's only been 2 weeks. They never use all their gimmicks from the very start. They introduce them over time to keep it interesting.

She should be arrested! I said before that the only justifiable way they could have thrown her out is if she threatened someone's life. She did.
He boyfriend is in prison for murder.
This all happened, these extracts, after the bathroom speaker incident, right?
You have to remember that BB fooled around making Mario get out of bed for no reason, other than to be funny. They have purposely pulled things this year, which makes the speaker incident seem pretty unconvincing as an accident.

It's one hell of a conspiracy to assume she was thrown out over that conversation. That conversation is ambiguous at best. I recall victor in BB5 talking similar and he ended up being one of the stars of the show.
The incident in the diary room has happened before. The fact that is happened at the exact time that the question was asked doesn't necessarily mean it was on purpose. In BB1 the same thing happened and it happened at a similarly conspicuous time.
I dont know what Alex is talking about in that conversation but it's one hell of leap to assume shes plotting some kind of blood revenge.
yeah that was definately done on purpose. :spin:

She is extremely dangerous with a criminal record, and a boyfriend wanted for murder. She brings him up.
