A fire breaks out whilst your at a fertillity clinic, there is time to save one thing before you leave the building, which do you choose?

A, A small child at the back of the room
B, A tray of 15 fertilised embryos on the front counter

Niether. I go and rob the vending machine instead.

I would say the child. The child would feel so much more pain than the embryo's, and there is no way i could let a living, breathing child burn alive.

Not even for 6 months worth of Mars Bars, Twixes, M & M's, Topics, Aeros, Revels, Malteasars, Snickers, Rolos and Curly Wirleys?

Yes me too Ashley, for the same reasons.

BTW, I had this discussion a few days ago with a friend who was real anti abortion, she too chose the child, in effect leaving 15 abortions.

No thought required for me with that question, I would pick the child everytime.

When it came to it, I'd pick the child everytime but then there is the heartbreak of the 15 families that will lose a child as opposed to the 1 if you pick the child.

As others have said though, it comes down to suffering and the child would suffer so it'd have to be the child.

Child.

Human suffering is felt from the child, also - some of the embryos wouldn't have developed healthily and successfully anyway.

No thought needed for this the child everytime because they are a proper life and would be hurt more if I left them

Agree with the majority here, I'd save the child.

very true, I didnt know that at the time but since a person in the know has informed me embryos would not survice for long if they were taken outside without treatment,,, hell I'm glad I didnt go for that option hyperthetically or really.
Imagine how gutted you would be

Well, you didn't say how old she was but if she was able to walk I'd save the embryos since she can leave of her own accord; otherwise I'd save her.

The child because not all the embryos will take, if any at all.

Theres only an 8% success rate and even that is with multiple attempts.
