Why steal cookies?

I like Sylvia but I just cannot get my head around the argument over the cookies.

Why did she steal food even though they had a luxury budget?

I thought it was stupid her stealing cookies, seeing as they had a luxury shopping budget. With her being found out about stealing them its make her more of a less trustworthy person in the house with the fact that she was hiding them from the group. What I didn't understand was that half the housemates didn't seem to care about the incident?

I think she just wanted to keep the treats for her and the little group that she's aligned herself with.They might have had a luxury shopping budget but I think the majority just went on the basics so everyone can have good meals.

Pretty selfish stuff on her part.I thought it was out of order how she tried to deceive Mikey into believing that she had nothing stored, glad he didn't fall for any of it.

I imagine because there are so many of them that most of the money went on the everyday things. I think she was childish and selfish to hide food that was bought to be shared by everyone.

I think she reacted in a childish way when challenged about it as well, she could have put her hands up and said yep you caught me!

Because she makes things happen. Just like she instigates fun, instigates romance, instigates tension, instigates conversation, she can also instigate controversy if need be. Invaluable housemate to have on the show.

she is awful the way she spoke to mikey was awful he is blind not deaf.he should of given her a mouthful.

She is trying to emit control on the group but failing miserably.

Also... she's trying to MAKE storylines up for herself to ensure she's on HL show.
HM's need storylines... i.e. Nadia and her smoking fits, Ant and his relationship with Craig etc.

Within the BB house they're meant to come naturally, but Sylvia forced them herself to get airtime. I.e. the thing with Mo, the "temptation" of Stu, the cliquey hiding of the biscuits.

spot on Lauren... indeed if only she could act a little better Pete(BB 7) was a perfect example of contriving foolishness with controversy and romance, something like that may have given her a real chance of winning it (although I doubt a female will from this years group)
However she fails to be anywhere near as funny, she's cringeworthy desperate in her 'romance' and over plays the controversy to the point wheres shes just annoying people.
I think this girl has watched previous BB's but just has'nt got enough of a natural personality, that really is a shame.

Very lazy excuse. If there's stories to show on the highlights they'll be shown. Don't kid yourself that Sylvia's stealing airtime from Katreya and her cookies or Lisa and her aerobics, if there was really anything going on, they'd share the time out evenly.

I disagree wholeheartedly. She is failing because she will be nominated.

She bought them out of her part of the money. I wouldn't want anyone else stealing my things either. But Mohammed is the biggest hypocrite- he was stealing all the food last week.
