Years ago a girlfriend bought me a Baseball Jacket with which was black with white sleeves and a big red letter J on it. My initial is P. I wanted to burst into tears but somehow managed to tell her it was the best presnt i'd ever had.

In my mind i came to the realization that i would have to wear it:bawling:.
About a year later she dumped me. The Jacket was the 1st thing to go on the fire

8 months later she married a bloke called John! It only lasted 14 months but i was more pleased that i never had to wear that bl**dy Jacket again.

That jacket makes me cringe to this day.

Isn't that what you get from Tesco amongst your Christmas groceries rather than get someone as a Christmas present. I tell you she wasn't my girlfriend come the time the Queen was on the box jabbering about people in distant lands who Phil had offended over the year.:elephant:

It's not happened to me, fortunately. But my friend's sister got him this ring with the shape of a the Playboy bunny on it, and he had to wear it when she was around. Cringe.

For a Christmas present once,my aunt gave me a little fairy ornament that she made herself but it crepped the hell out of me! So I shoved it in a box of bobbins I think it was(I always wear my hair down) and kept the pretty box! My uncle(married to that aunt) got me a book on how to make money which I just put behind all my chick-lit.

I've got clothes I didn't want as well from various people, which I just didn't wear.

Yeah, but its the thought that counts - most of the time it was when i was a kid and all i wanted was toys and stuff - clothes were a dissappointment hahah

When i was a kid i hated getting clothes for Christman..we want toys!!

And my Gran would always bring us horrid things back from her holidays, like this one time she gave me these vile cat ornament things with this crazy fur and weird evil eyes. Their mouths also used to be open in a strange psychotic way. Eugh!! Gives me shivers just thinking about them!

Needless to say they were packed away most of the time and brought out when she came to visit.

Someone bought me a yellow tshirt and I only wear black, white or stripes but I got the receipt with it because they said if its too small you can take it back and get something else. So I did :hello:

I always under-react to any presents, so it always makes me look like I hate what I receive even if I love it

I just don't start screaming OMG I LOVE YOU, that's all.

Dreary....a little present for you!

Ezekial 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children; and I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

Now give me back my avatar you cheesy little freak :mad::mad:

I was thinking of going to Hollesley in Suffolk for a night or two, and then perhaps pop up to Norfolk. I'm not familiar with the van yet, ie how to work gas, electrics and water, so all you'll get from the holiday may be a bed!:elephant:
