Ashes To Ashes and Doctor Who lead the nominations at this year's TV Quick and TV Choice Awards.

The BBC dramas picked up three nominations each, with Philip Glenister, David Tennant, Keeley Hawes and Catherine Tate all competing for acting awards.

Ashes To Ashes is also up for best new drama (against Heroes, Lark Rise To Candleford and Pushing Daisies), while Doctor Who will contest the best loved drama prize (with The Bill, Torchwood and Waterloo Road).

The Apprentice, Big Brother, I'm A Celebrity... and Katie And Peter Unleashed are all nominated in the best reality show section.

In the soaps categories, EastEnders and Coronation Street emerged as frontrunners, picking up nine and eight nominations respectively. The best soap award will go to Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale or Hollyoaks.

The awards ceremony, to be presented by actor Ben Miller, will take place at London's Dorchester Hotel on September 8.

Prizes are awarded based on reader votes from TV Quick and TV Choice.

Lets hope Big Brother wins. Will it be BB8 or BB9 up for the awards?

The Apprentice will win best reality show if its BB8.

BB8 doesn't deserve to win but because its September 8th, thats a few days after BB9 so BB9 could be up, and if it carries on the way its going it could win.

I think it's BB9 that will be nominated. The NTA's nominated BB8 last year, and voting was going on while BB8 was still on air.
