Housemates awoke this morning to find five chairs placed in a line outside the Diary Room.
Luke asked members of the group if they knew why they were there, but it appeared that none of the housemates had moved the chairs.
He observed: "Dale and Jen were the last to go to bed at 4.30 - they say the chairs were normal then. Why would somebody put those chairs there? What do they mean, Darnell?"
But Darnell appeared to be as perplexed as the rest of the group.
Dennis, who spent the night in the Big Brother jail cell, noted that the chairs had been placed in a line by 6.30am, because he had noticed them on his toilet break.
"I thought you had all had a talent show last night or something," he said.
The group continued to speculate about the meaning of the chairs throughout the morning. Luke said: "What if five chairs represent five new housemates?"
Sylvia later asked: "Do you think they've done it to cause paranoia? I don't think it means anything."
