Why do we vote?

I am not quite sure which of these options actually incur the most votes

1. Do you vote to keep your favourite in when the nominations are up
or
2. Do you vote to get rid of the person you really dislike.

Me personally, i'd only feel strongly enough to vote to get someone out i disliked

I did always vote the person I disliked the most.
However after the Nikki fiasco of BB7, I completly boycotted BB8 and now will watch BB but will never ever vote again.
Channel 4 took the pee out of its viewers and I'll never forgive them for it and I sure won't support them in profits from my vote anymore.

Well said Angiebabe - i have only ever voted once - i can't even remember who i disliked that much to actually pick the phone up!

Then again....the way things are going here.....never say never!

Exactly! why DO the public chuck money at them??

They do what they want and show what THEY want you to see then put back in people who have been voted out at the viewers' expense, then get the viewers to vote for them again!
One could say that BB thumbs its corporate nose at the viewing public!
