When it comes to sussing out what other HM's are about, who would say has been the most switched on up to now?

As much as everyone hates her right now, it is without a doubt Jennifer.

Darnell, and not only does he shrewdly work out peoples motives, this was the guy with Dennis (an ally) 2 days before spit gate, he bases actions on right and wrong, not on who's close to him or not.
He has come a long way since his high five moment with Alex, and has shown a lot of people in that house exactly what being 2 faced and double standards are about, and who really has them.
Contrast him with Luke, Dale, the worst of the opposite attitude.

While the forums are empty and i can't be attacked by all angles, can someone please tell me why everyone hates Jen SO much. It can't just be her part in the arguemnt because much worse things have been done in the house than overeacting.

For me, it's her hot-headedness. She is very easy to get angry and jump to conclusions, and often directs a lot of hate with a click of the fingers.
An example is when Dennis' departure was announced, rather than "mourning" as such, at first she had to spit her venom towards Darnell. I can understand her being upset, but it seems her first reaction is to get angry.

Ok fair enough and i think that warrants a dislike but not the level of hate there is. I think expressing your emotions, even if they are angry is better than what Rachel is doing and just acting up.

No, I agree - I don't hate any HM.
I also dislike Rachel
For me to like a HM it really takes a lot. They need to be both outspoken but fair.

FINALLY, someone who doesn't jump on the bandwagon and follow everyone else. I fell people talking about her daughter and the rest is way way too far and i think if she survives this week (do you think she will?) then there could be a Mario-type turnaround for her.

I don't like it when people make personal attacks on HM so much so they bring their family or outside life into it! Completely unfair. Especially questioning Jen's parenting abilities too! (I know Jen firsthand, she's a VERY apt parent - she made the wrong decision to enter the house but parents have done worse things).
If she is up against someone like Dale, then I think she will survive. Depends on how she's presented in the next few HL shows, or if someone else takes the position of 'hated HM'.

First of all you should not be getting attacked from any angle let alone all of them as you alledge.
Being attacked for having a different view is wrong no matter what your view is providing its not inciting hatred/violence and its not conveyed in offensive language.
Those who do that are out of order, and moderators will take the offence off the forum and remove persistant offenders, they may even do that to the people who see fit condoning this behaviour.
Thats exactly what the public oppinion percieves Jen to have done in the aftermouth of the spitting incident. Aswell as the fact she has, eventually admitted to BB that she did prolong this row after 2 seperate oppologies from a man who wiped fingers over a painting.
That's why she is disliked so much, however hate is a bit strong an emotion at this stage for the actions of a contestant on a TV show.

If you feel your being attacked for supporting someone on a TV show, then I hope she turns it round for your benefit too
It's Darnell for me, he pays attention to all thats going on whilst the others just think he's in a world of his own. He's been spot on about everything and he doesn't like bias impair his opinions.

Bar none Darnell. Can always be counted on as a voice of reason.

Rex says some very insightful and intelligent things about other HMs, and Darnell is also very perceptive, and I think very diplomatic when giving advice/tackling touchy subjects with HMs. Both of them are very switched on.
