Still can't stand him

I really have and I mean really have tried to warm to this guy, but he is so patronising! I can't take it anymore, the way he thinks he knows everything and he's just vulgar. He's the only housemate this year that I've not liked atleast once.

I like him and I like him more and more every episode. He says what he thinks and is prepared to do so to every HM. He doesn't act like he knows everything at all. He gives his opinions which are often well judged.

I've complety changed my opinion on him. Hes really improved and hes a nice, truthful and god damn right guy.

I like Darnell, think he's a great housemate, people need to treat him like he should be treated in there.. they take his friendship forgranted. He stands up for what he believes in, and should be respected for that, but he isn't.. that isn't his fault though, that's the group he's mixing with, most of them are just bitches.
His diary room chat was very sad, he just wants to be someones favourite.. well, he's one of mine.

Darnell is the biggest legend in the house right now. He is so blatantly honest , truthfull , and forthcoming about everything that I dont know how anyone could hate him.

He is the complete oppposite to everything. The remedy for the years of backstabing , bitchy housemates these forums love to get behind because they do a good job with their makeup.

I cannot believe you can say you hate him! Are you serious?! He's never once patronised anyone! In fact the more he opens his mouth the more I like and respect him. He's straight, decent, principled, fair, humble, honest, intelligent and sensitive. He's very insightful and he is always ready to stand up for the underdog. Plus he's a great singer. What's not to like? Are you one of those people who always feels inferior and belittled when confronted with someone who is able to express their anger/frustration clearly and calmly and intelligently without resorting to violent threats and petty personal insults? Do you prefer dealing with people like Rebecca and Alex because you are more at home with their personal 'style' of handling issues? Tell me please bceause I'm very confused.
