Evicted Big Brother 9 star Stephanie McMichael has continued her war of words with last year's contestant Chanelle Hayes.

Stephanie was recently blasted by Chanelle after she vowed not to follow in the footsteps of the glamour model.

"Chanelle is clearly on the prowl for a fight because she doesn't like me," Stephanie told the Daily Star. "I just said you would never catch me posing with my boobs or bum out - it's not something I would do.

"Anyway, I actually have a talent. I have been vocally trained since I was nine and intend to use that to carve out a career for myself, rather than rely on exposing my body."

McMichael also mocked Chanelle for her fascination with Victoria Beckham and her flop pop single 'I Want It'.

"Unlike some, I am not obsessed about being someone I'm not and copying someone else's style, from their hair to their clothes," she explained. "Music is actually more important to me than the modelling and I hope that, when I release my first track, it'll do better than 63 in the charts. It helps that I can actually sing!"

Responding to her rival's latest comments, Chanelle said: "Her two seconds of fame must be up if she feels she has to use my name to stay in the limelight. Steph's the one who started all this, after all. I'm very happy with my life and career and I don't need to hang on anyone's coat tails to do well."

If we want to go and compare riches like that then the guy down the street has more money than me and might have been in the local paper a few times.

But we neither of us still have ZERO fame.

Now apply that analogy , if you will , to the whole Stephanie/Channele thing.

I am a fan of Chanelle's, but no-one can say that she isn't extremely successful compared to other housemates. When I call her famous, I mean in comparison to other ex-housemates.

Let's just see then.

They're too different and had such different motives before entering the show. Although Steph is quite academic, she's always been interested in singing - as was shown through her Popstars audition. She also probably used it to get into the limelight again, with the intention of using that to continue her singing career. Chanelle, however, really had one intention only: to become an entertaining BB housemate. She did that by impersonating VB, having her little tantrums etc.

She then went on to become a successful ex-housemate because she stayed in the public eye and milked her fame, through her calendar, numerous shoots, a shot at a single etc. She will be remembered for being a successful ex-BB contestant, using her time well. Don't get me wrong. I do really like Steph and i do believe that she went on the show for fame and fortune but i am not critising her for that. I am disagreeing with the fact that i do not think her music will do well despite of her "passion" for music and i do think that Chanelle's success will be more than what Steph can achieve. Chanelle has becom really successful for a BB Housemate and as much as i would like Steph do well, i doubt she will. Hmmm, I'll have to disagree. Chanelle's a very bubbly person and if you watch one of her shows you'd see she isn't spoilt. Unfortunately, she's a very paranoid person because she does get a lot of slack. Everything she does she questions how much people will hate it. No one should have to live like that.

Well if they were recorded when they were fourteen it obviously proves she's got nowhere since then. She's never going to be a successful singer - no one will take her seriously. She hasn't got that much of a voice either. Some of you rant on like she's Mariah Carey or something.

She's recorded one yes, but the British charts aren't the only charts. And only 'flopped' on the singles chart. It did very well on dance and club charts. And they wouldn't have been made if they weren't some form of song charts. There are many big songs that are big on the club charts but dont touch the singles chart. Many people would have heard it clubs, giving it more exposure.

I don't want to get nasty, but you do defend your favourite housemates to a huge extent. Sometimes it gets abusive. That could be deemed obsessed. I'm not saying you are, but thats how it appears sometimes. I don't think she's obsessed. Many people have a style icon and hers happens to be Victoria Beckham. There's nothing wrong with that.

I said Chanelle had done a lot in the month she left. Not overall, or in the past year. There was bigger interest in Chanelle because she was popular. Stephanie wasn't.

I don't really want to argue over two girls I don't know, so I'm gonna end it here.

Stephanie quite clearly had a personlity. She made an impact in the time she was there.
Yes she is working hard to become the most famous housemate, but unlike Chanelle, shes actually working away from the public eye, to come out with something seh can proud of.

I think they're both pathetic and trying to grab onto Big Brother fame, which for Chanelle is diminishing as her BB was last year and all the things she has done hasn't exactly set the world alight, and though Steph might be more talented at singing or whatever she was the first contestant out and most people will have forgotten her anyway.
