I love spongebob cos it's not only for kids its for adults too...like there are some jokes/innuendo that kids won't get and adults will...and that's what i really like about it.... and it's not even explicit like the simpsons so everyone can sit down and watch it and both kids and parents will get a kick out of watching it.

Spongebob squarepants and some other Nickelodeon shows have amazingly dark/complex adult jokes that seem so innocent to young minds. I just can't belive the stuff they get away with at times, but it's hilarious how well it's hidden.

My close group of friends liked it for the simple fact that it's ridiculous and people our age aren't supposed to like it.
