View Full Version : No eviction tonight

Just read on the official site that there has been an announcement that there will be NO eviction tonight. No nominations next week therefore.
This is to give the housemates the chance to work through their problems as a group.
Also Emma and Victor are to be given the opportunity to meet away from the group later today to discuss matters (accompanied by security and 6 psychologists I should think)
They are obviously very worried about the psychological outcome of the other night on all the housemates and so they should. They brought this on themselves by their choice of housemates and what has gone on. Those psychologists who picked them should be shot.

Yesssss!! So Vanessa stays in for another week!! yay :hello:
I have just received a press release about this:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press update:
Big Brother producers have decided to postpone this evening's eviction. The housemates are continuing to work through their differences and producers wish to give them sufficient time to come to a resolution as a group.
Emma and Victor will be given the opportunity later today to discuss their relationship away from the rest of the housemates.
This week's nominations still stand and votes will carry over to next week. There will be no nominations next week.
There's an article in the entertainment section of the BBC's new site about this. It also says that one of the psychologists decided to resign after the fight.

I second that
Another quote I thought interesting from the BBC article is that.....
Emma Greenwood and Victor Ebuwa, who had to be separated after the row, will get the chance to discuss their issues away from other contestants.
This seems to imply that the 2 will be given the opportunity to meet up on there own - maybe Victor will get taken to the bedsit - to see if they can sort out their problems.

But it also says that Emma can return if she and Victor can resolve their difficulties - dont think that is possible - so what will they do then?
Actually this non-eviction could cause problems because Victor and Jason are desperate to put Marco and Emma up for eviction and if they have to wait another week how will they react?
Personally I think everyone of the psychologists who assessed the housemates should be held to account. Either they made a complete mess up of their assessment or the producers completely ignored their advice. If the latter then they should be called to account.
All will appear fine on the surface, but underneath there is a time bomb ticking between several of them

I thought that if you fell off of a horse you should get straight back in the saddle.

Should be a review of yesterday and something relating to the meeting between Victor and Emma.

There has been speculation that even though there is not going to be a proper eviction with crowds they may still decide to get rid of one or more housemates after the violence earlier in the week.
I hope this doesn't happen, but it is a possibility.

Perhaps he decided to resign after telling the producers that this was an accident waiting to happen? I mean you stick people in a house that are bound to not get on and this is going to happen at one point?

No, the guy is a criminologist, his University think it's inappropriate that he stays involved with Big Brother given the involvement of the police.
I think it's disaster management on the University's part as they don't want to see their 'expert' disgraced... bit late for that, if you ask me.

I seriously wonder whether another reason for postponing the eviction is to do with Shell's state of mind. She was pretty upset on "fight night" and I wonder if medical help was called for her (though this is just speculation).
I think if Vanessa had gone tonight (and it's fairly obvious that she would), Shell would have lost her closest friend in the house, and would have quite possibly walked.

This is more details about the criminologist leaving (http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/entertainment/news/story0.htm)
Adds to my suspicion that the pysche screening is often over ruled and people are put at risk. Speaking of which ...

According to the Sun on Line
The mayhem caused sensitive Shell to collapse in the bathroom in tears and be violently sick. Show bosses even had to send in a friend from home to comfort her
I read somewhere that they had to call in a paramedic after Shell had a panic attack (Sorry but can not find my original source for this)
I saw the paramedic thing as well Sticks, but I also cannot remember where.

From the Daily Mail (Printed version - not online)
Paramedics were also allowed into the house to treat frightened housemate Shell Jubin, who was sick after suffering a suspected panic attack

yeah, the housmates were talking about shell havin a panic attack, poor thing!!! im kinda disappointed that eviction is not on, its both good and bad tht vanessa wont be going!
Well it certainly looks as though all the speculation about Victor, or someone, going tonight was just speculaltion and nothing else. No sign of anyone going at the moment.
