View Full Version : Kathreya Kathreya - Wrongly Attacked?

Does anyone else agree?
Mario was COMPLETELY out of order tonight.
If I was there, I'd have let rip at him.
Calling her pathetic, a cry-baby and telling her to grow up?
WTF?
Kathreya is a buddhist.
They strongly believe in peace; they hate arguments and conflict.
With that in mind, why attack her for it?
Let her cry if she dislikes the arguments.
Shouting at her is just going to make her more upset.
I wish Rachel was a little stronger to rip at him and she did try but was quickly disregarded.
When she was sat in the corner of the jail, and Rachel and Darnell were looking for her, that was really upsetting.
Kat shouldn't have to feel she has to apologize for REACTING?
People can't always control the way they react in situations.
She shouldn't have to apologize for not being able to cope?
I really hope someone agrees with me.
No, she knew before she went in stuff would get out of hand what Mario said was right.

Yeah, I do to an extent. I mentioned in a different thread that I was disappointed in her because she should be able to cope better. But, I'm not disappointed anymore simply because I really didn't expect her to apologise for it. I thought that showed more strength of character than any other housemate in there has shown - she's actually apologised for the flaws in her own character. Mario has plenty more and is oblivious to them.
I thought Mario was unnecessarily mean, and could have done something like try to explain why he felt the way he did (like Lisa & Rachel) rather than criticising her. It's not like he's perfect himself. As for the others who were criticising her... well, the less said about them the better.

She is 30 years old, she cries at an argument that isnt anything to do with her. She needs to grow up, or get off the show.

All of the housemates (bar Rachel) were being really cowardly tonight. When Kat went to the diary room, a lot of them started talking about her, and then when she comes back they're all "everything's ok" and things like that. Mario especially was out of order.

Why? Because I dont shout AWWWWW or OMFG or LMFAO at the end of every post? If you look in the discussion thread, I said I felt sorry for Kat.
I like Rachel too, but she is very dull.
And I do have a personality thanks, I just dont speak to you.

I agreed with Mario at the end of the day there is only so much that people can take of someone crying over the slightest thing. I do like Kat but why did she get so upset? Rex didn't even say anything to her. Mario and Lisa were saying today that she's all an act for the camera. I am beginging to wonder now!! Cookie and all her sayings were funny at first but sometimes she does irrate me because she doesn't act like a grown up!

When someone says their opinion about one of their favourite housemates, you jump on their backs to hell.
But its fine for you to say something about one of your favourite housemates.

The second one would do really. I'm not criticising her for being over-sensitive. I'm criticising her for entering BB when she knows she is over-sensitive.

?? You began by insulting my personality "LOVE", just because I dont like Kat. Im not backing Stephanie? I did, but she got evicted obviously.
I don't jump on their backs, if there is something I disagree with, I say so, it's a forum.
And my favourites got loads and loads of **** on here aswell so stop complaining just cos some people dont like Rachel.

Why does he? For telling someone to grow up. Kat was pathetic she was crying for nothing at something that didn't even involve her. I respect that she doesn't like conflict but not everybody is always going to be happy and bouncy like she always seems to be!

After Mario was unleashing his Marioness against Kat, he goes and tells Kat after she apologizes, "No need to apologize".
To be fair, the majority of the housemates were ganging up against Kat but didn't bother mentioning any of their concerns against her when she came back in the room.
These are the people who preach about being genuine.
These are the people who preach about telling what's on their minds to people's faces.
Yes, she may have over reacted, but I'd rather someone who may have genuine concerns and dislike for arguments than people who would quickly stab you in the back.

To be fair, I think if they said that to her face she would break down into hysterics again; which is not good for anyone. Mario made it quite clear how he felt when she was in the room and I think she was made fully aware of the other housemates' concerns.
I don't think she was wrongly attacked. People are now starting to get fed up with her constant crying act over everything. She should know that on a show like BB people will argue/not get on all the time. The producers have to choose these characters to make interesting viewing.

No she wasn't
She is crying at the slightest sign of an argument, the woman really needs to grow up
I am getting fed up of it so the housemates must be really annoyed.
Perhaps Mario could have been a bit more sensitive than to just shout cry baby at her, but I can understand his and the other housemates frustrations at her crying all the time.Lisa did a good job of trying to talk sense into her.
I kinda feel that Kat's too sensitive for a show like Big Brother. There's always going to be arguments and she cannot even cope with those that don't involve her.

I am the number 1 Mariomaniac around here and even I say Mario went over the top at Kat. She is a peaceful person and doesn't react well to evil bitches like Bex being so openly horrible in such an enclosed space. Mario should have been more understanding.
I think Lisa was the worst culprit. She spent all night with Jennifreak crying over the painting. Lisa showed disgraceful double standards not being sympathetic to Kat's feelings aswell, and Kat had a very legitimate reason to get emotional in the horrible atmosphere Bex was causing and has been causing all week.
Atleast Mario showed equal standards by calling out Jennifreak for her crying.

They all seem to have turned on her to the extent that it's kind of united the house. Rebecca seemed to make up with Rex only to turn her hate towards Kat.
I think Kat will get a few nominations this week and may even be up for eviction. I dont think's she'll be evicted but it'll be interesting to see how she reacts.

She is just emotional, and I agree she should have expected it - it's obvious she is finding it difficult to live with. Especially because she likes all of the housemates. I think the others are giving her a hard time. she now knows her mistake and is learning from it.

I actually totally agree. If it upsets her that much, she should just leave. It would annoy me if someone constantly cried everytime there was an argument - some people just don't get along, they clash, and you can't force them to like each other. And in such a small environment these situations get magnified by a tenfold.
What I didn't agree with was Mario saying it was pathetic etc when she was in the toilet, and then saying she didn't need to apologise because "that's just who she is". I thought that was really two-faced.

I suppose though we cannot comprehend what it is like to be locked up with so many strangers (at first) for 13 weeks 24/7. If they are arguing all the time and you cannot get away from it, we may all react differently to how we normally would.
Mario should just keep his mouth shut.

The house would be extremely stupid to put Kat up for nomination as anyone against Kat (bar Darnell maybe) would be evicted.
Unless it's a ploy, e.g. Kat vs Rex...bye Rex.
But Kat Vs the house bitches...that's their own suicide they're going to commit.
BTW, when Bex said "I wanted luke to win. I didn't say I didn't want Kat to win" to which Mario proceeded to add his Marioness to,
Becca's actual words were (or similar). "I think Kat's going to win. I don't want her to win, she doesn't deserve it. I want Luke to win".
