I was wondering cos my friend is from Thailand [go Kat, haha], and he was wondering if you have to be a citizen to try out for Big Brother. I've never tried auditioning myself so I wouldn't know.

No, Makosi didn't. Nor does Darnell, IIRC.

I thought Darnell was born in Britain.

You need to have a valid work permit, which was why Makosi was in trouble

You need to have been living in the UK or Ireland, legally of course, for at least two years - I think.

You need to live here for three years and work here I think, and because Makosi only had a work permit its why she got threatened with deportation because it was in her agreement to work or something like that.

Darnell was born in Britain but moved to America and was deported. No idea where that stands with him being born here, whether he would need to reapply for a visa etc.
