I got my hair permed this year so I don't straighten it anymore but I use to straighten it every week. I used a CHI straightener. No other products because they make my hair look greasy.

Mines naturally straight but it swings over my face and I hate my hair like that, it has to be straight so I have a straight across fringe yey.

This is where I do feel for you white folk with hair trouble:laugh:
I've always gone out and just brought straight hair or braids :thumbs2: I was also telling someone today how easier it has been to cope with the therapy for cancer in particular the hair loss, again Ive always been used to having worn a wig from my early teens for most of the other times.

Thats been one advantage of afro hair, i dont think I have ever used hair straiteners or curling tongs.:cheer2::laugh:

Haha. Well I have mixed genes - my mum's got perfectly straight hair, and my dad's is wavy. I would've been perfectly happy with either one but ended up somewhere in the middle instead. I prefer my hair straight instead of wavy though.

I just realised I can't find my straighteners. I need them for tomorrow. Bleh.

I've got Hot Straight Cream (it looks wrong too) by Loreal that was bought for me like last year. I don't use it much. Smells like strawberries though. YUM.

I get jealous occasionally at those guys with afro hair...the individual strand type, not the intense fuzzy type.

Yeah, Mo did something like it to his hair. Not sure what the term is

But could my hair even do that? I thought you had to have special hair.

Mabe the term you will find is he washed it and just left it dry naturally, not brush it so it goes crazy.

If that dude in the pic brushed his hair with a comb; im sure his hair would go quite crazy.

I dont because i have naturally straight hair... occasionally i have a bad hair day and use the iron to do it because i wouldnt get enough use out of straighter to buy a pair if my hair is straight 99.9% of the time.

LOL

A girl I know did that once because her straighteners had broke and she left the iron on part of her hair for a little too long and it burnt and fell out! It was right at the bottom though so not that much (about half an inch) and she said it needed cutting anyway :laugh2:
