Even though we already have a thread for this, I won't delete this one as I think it is valid to start it again as so much has happened over the past few days and it may have caused some people to change their mind.

I think Vanessa will go. I like her and Dan and don't really want either of them to leave. :bawling:

I don't think Vanessa has done anything wrong, but Dan has come out of the fight very very well and will have gained a lot of support from the public because of this.

Before the fight I had been voting to evict Dan because even though I really like him, I like Vanessa more and really really wanted her to stay. Now I'm not so sure - I really don't want Vanessa to go, but the thought of the house without Dan as a calming influence over the next few weeks is quite a scary one.

yeah, he was the only person who remained calm rational and collected and we need people like that in the house!

I thought that Vanessa would go anyway, and I still think she'll go next week. She's still smarting about the fight and didn't really want to talk to Nadia, even though Nadia said she'd apologise. Dan was popular already, but now his popularity is going to soar because of the excellent way he dealt with the argument, seperating Emma from the fray and encouraging people to talk things out in a calm, sensible way - that's my man! :thumbs:

I think Vanessa will go.
I will be shocked if Dan goes, especially after his calming influence the other night when the whole argument kicked off. He was excellent and I think people will vote for him on that alone.

Vanessa is still one of my favourite people and I don't think she deserves the reputation she has got at all, and I would actually prefer her to stay than Dan.

It going to be Vanessa that goes, yeah definately. Unfortunately Vanessa doesn't seem to be liked at all by the public.

Admittedly she says the wrong things at the wrong time like the thing about Africans being more respectful about not wasting food. But there's an effect also at play that the one who acts like adult and doesn't imitate a child is disliked, especially if they are seen as snooty. It's happened many times in previous series of Big Brother.

Plenty of us would behave in the same way as her if we were in the same situation. Judge not lest ye be judged.

Personally I think there also are stereotypical attitudes about privileged South Africans at work too. But that's just my opinion.

I agree James I think Vanessa will go,I think the one thing that could have saved her is her relationship with Jason but I think after the fight he has lost support and will be evicted as soon as he gets nominated.

Has got to be Vanessa. Dan has played his role as a peacemaker so well that he will be seen as the good guy. Vanessa and Jason - we will see action this week on the premiss that people will vote for romance, but Vanessa will not remain whatever she does.

I don't want Dan to stay either for the opposite reasons of others. I don't want a calming influence right up to the end or you finish up with BB4. Whats the point of that!!!!!!

With a calming person ruling the roost you just finish up with meaningless boring conversations of a substance similar to Dean and Elizabeth or wannaby inventor Tickle master.:devil:

I think Vanessa will go on Friday with an overwhelming majority. I agree that it's a shame that she has to go but perhaps she will be grateful to get away from Jason. It will be interesting to hear what she has to say about that "relationship".

I hope Dan wins. He's been my favourite from day one.

Vanessa should go because:

1) That would annoy Jason, and I can't stand that big aggressive lump and his lack of self control

2) As many have already said, Dan was such a great intermediary after the fight on Wednesday. I would not be surprised if he had some sort of Counselling Skills training before he came on the show

3) I'm not that keen on Vanessa anyhow!
