TiBB Idol [Live launch - 9th October at 6:30PM] IMPORTANT UPDATE

This autumn join myself and our new three judges for a brand new TiBB reality show, TiBB Idol!
After two series of TiBB does The X Factor, presented by Chrizzle (series 1) and myself (series 2), i've decided to re-format the show as TiBB Idol.

The audition and live show format will be tweaked, with some new and interesting changes. After a scan of the forum, i've chosen three judges who I think will fit the job best. Our new judges are;

Markus
SiaSiaSia
Xander

I'll also be returning this year to front the live shows, but we still have one more place up for grabs!

The show will run from 8th October for approx. 2-3 weeks!

It's going to be a mixture of Pop Idol/American Idol/X Factor if that makes sense. I haven't got the new format quite finished yet. :thumbs:

I used to record it with that when I did series 1. I just quickly pressed the red button once it hit a minute and it started recording longer.

Ive been like recording a few songs too see what style and songs sound best,

but i keep getting like feedback off my microphone.. its built in my laptop.. and when I go louder, or when I say a 'p' or a 'c' or something.. it like makes a stupid, loud, irratating noise!

Apart from singing quietly and no pronouncing any strong letters, is there anyway of stopping it?

This year, TiBB Idol will have its own website. It will include news updates, profiles, voting information and you'll even be able to download each performance!

Keep checking the website as i'll be adding content updates over the next few days. If you have any ideas for it then please let me know.

I've filled all but two of the contestant spaces on the show now, so if you're still interested in being part of the show then drop me a U2U. There is a shortage of female's on the show, so we'd love some more to audition!

Successful applicants will be contacted shortly. The launch show will be on 10th October at 7pm. Here is a rough guide as to what date each show will be on:

I've decided to scrap the website idea, it took up too much time. However, I might do a small mini-site where all of the performances will be available for download.

Reminder - 28/09
A reminder to all the contestants who currently haven't sent me their first performance, I will need it by 1st October, 7pm at the latest. If you have any problems, then please U2U me. Please don't post it in this thread, as all contestants are currently a secret.

I can also reveal that the names of all of the contestants will be posted in this thread on 8th October at 8pm! There will also be small interviews available to read from all of this year's judges (Markus, Xander and Sia).

Now that the launch show is finally getting closer and closer, I thought i'd give everyone a bit more information about the show. The launch show will kick off on Friday night at 6:00PM, and we'll get to hear all of the act's performances, which are all based around one theme (theme will be revealed shortly).

The act's performances will be posted in three's and once they have been posted the judges will comment on each of them, and so on. Once all the act's have performed, the U2U lines will open for voting. Viewers will be allowed one vote each, it will be vote to 'Save'. The lines will then close around 8:45PM and the bottom two acts will be announced.

The judges will then decide which act to send packing! You will be also be able to post in the TiBB Idol Discussion thread, bet on TiBB Idol in the TiBB Betting thread and there will also be lots of polls. Fingers crossed, this will all have its own sub-forum (depending on the admins decision). So remember to come come and watch the show from 6:00PM on Friday!

I have decided to move the show to a Wednesday night as I think it will be more appropriate, many people go out on a Friday night so it'll have more interest on another night of the week. Therefore, the show will kick off on 8th October instead of 10th.

It's a good idea, but I don't think enough people would be winning to guest perform who already haven't got a place on the show. If enough people U2U me that are interested in guest performing, then i'd consider it.

Right, i've decided to go to Plan B as a last resort. I started to upload the files to the internet around two hours ago. However, they are taking far far too long to upload and therefore i've got no other option but to prospone the show until tomorrow night. Sorry to disappoint, but I think it is for the best.

We had technical problems last year, the internet must hate these shows! I want the show to pan out really well, so if that means waiting until everything is working then I think that is better.
