Yes. I never thought anyone would be better than Rose as the assistant, but Donna was so great and just showed that the other 2 weren't very good

I loved Rose to bits but I wouldnt like to see her back full time. You wouldnt believe how much I hated Martha in her first few episodes but grew to like her some what. Donna on the other hand completely exceeded expectations with her outstanding performances during the series. I wish she would of stayed for more than one series I think many of us bonded with her.

If she isn't dead I would love for her to be the next assistant but that will probably never happen

She died, then she was turned to atoms or something like that. I thought she was good but it would be interesting to have seen her do a ful series if a bit costly for the BBC!

Rumour on the grapevine is that Jenny could be the next asistant but i'm not sure how trustworthy that is.

She sacrificed herself and fell into the ships engine and died. The Doctor tried to bring her back coz she was wearing a teleport on her wrist but it was too weak. She turned into atoms, or as Mr Cooper would say, 'Shes Stardust'

Yeh she should have stayed on. I have never been a Doctor who fan but when I found out that catherine was the new assistant I had to watch because I think she is a super actress and now I have watched the whole series I can now officially say Im a Doctor Who fan lmao

Yeah Donna was so funny probably because Catherine's a comedienne. I like Rose during Sereis 1 & 2 but she wasn't as good this year.

Now Donna's back to her day job as a Temp.

Nah, she was good but would've been ruined if she last another series.
She had her storyline, no need to drag it on.

Personally, I'd LOVE to see a male companion.
Perhaps someone younger, attractive. Possibly gay.

She was absolutley brilliant as companion. Donnas character was exactly what the Doctor needed. Why the ****** RTD never asked her to do more than one series is beyond me. She is by far better than Rose, and thats coming from me. I swore that I would never watch after Billie left. This series was as RTD said 'Donna Story', its just a shame that her story didnt span more than one series. BRING DONNA BACK!!!!!

And she was a great companion...really sad how her story ended.

But I think during it I got annoyed sometimes by how similar she was to her sketch-show characters...I was expecting her to say "what a ****ing liberty!" half the time.
