View Full Version : Rebecca Why THIS snog could save Bex from eviction

When we found out that Bex was going up against Mario in this week’s eviction, we were pretty certain that it would be Bex and her boobs who’d be out of the door tonight. However, it’s amazing what a bit of under-the-covers action can do for a girl’s staying power – this morning, Mario’s overtaken Bex and become bookies’ favourite to get the chop tonight. When our friends at Paddy Power stopped choking on their cheese and pickle sandwiches at the sight of Luke and Bex having a bit of sexytime, they revealed that she’s slipped from 10/3 to 7/2, while Mario’s at 1/6. All of these numbers are a little confusing, but it basically means Bex is much more likely to stay than Mario now. And it seems these issues are floating around in Mario’s head too – he remarked to Luke a few minutes ago that he thinks Bex might go because “she has done things she shouldn’t have.” He also rather cynically added that the kiss “doesn’t ring true”, implying he thinks Bex deliberately chose last night to get slurpy with Luke as a last-ditch strategy to stay in (we only hope Mario doesn’t spend today groping Lisa in retaliation…). Anyway, we’re not convinced she would have gone at it for quite so long if there was any method to her madness – we think it’s more likely that she just got a bit drunk and felt amorous towards her best male friend – and we’ve all been there! What do you think?

That article is also suggesting the undercover action is only to save Bex. Surely people will see through this and hopefully vote her out because of it.

All of them in there will do what they think the public want to see....That's not a crime in a game show and is a very weak reason for wanting to evict a housemate.......
To judge if a housemate should get the boot should be based on an over all assessment of behavour and entertainment value as percieved by the observer...

Totally agree, whoever is going to go, has the most votes at this moment.

To judge if a housemate should get the boot should be based on an over all assessment of behavour and entertainment value as percieved by the observer... But what if a HM only starts to entertain and do what the public want to see when they're on the verge of being eliminated from the competition?
Personally, I don't think most of them would do anything to stay on the show. Lisa and Mario could have had sex and if they had it would have been a major talking point so I don't think the some HM's are as desperate at these two.
The main thing I object to is the timing of it. Why now? Why not last week? I do hope people see through this cynical act and vote her out. As a HM she's been a nightmare. Lest we forget she was close to being kicked off the show. Surely this cant save her.

If she has been a nightmare she has captured your attention enough to find the passion to write about her. Thus she is a good housemate.
When you watch a film (thriller say) do you want to kick out the baddies before the story has unfolded.i think not.

She has captured my imagination merely becasue she's a HM but then so have all of them. I fail to see the point you're trying to make.

It was obvious from when the nominations were announced that Mario will be going. Heatworld would only have to look at any forum poll to work that out.

Who's to say it's not real?. She was drunk. She doesn't have to have planned it. Luke instigated the kiss anyway, not Rebecca. Some could say he took advantage of her because of her state.
Mario will be out tonight. :wavey:

Mario will be out tonight. :wavey: Anyone can say its real but that don't make it so. Thing is these two seem so desperate - they are the only remnants of the whisper squad left - and I would not put anything past them. Also, in my experience, 'real' relationships don't occur in many scenarios involving excess alcohol.

BB is an on going story line as in a film and as for being no baddies have you not read the comments about housemates as if some were sporned from satan himself. of course there are baddies as percieved by some.
The analogy is spot on if you digest what was said but I cannot force anyone to accept it.....Just my point of view take it or leave it.......It's a discussion forum like you say......

Correct. And anyone can say its not real but that don't make it so either. Why are we talking about "real relationships"? It was a kiss. A snog. She had had a few drinks. I am sure most people have shared a drunken kiss.
What's Luke's excuse anyway? He doesn't drink. And he then tells her today that if she stays, she is not welcome in his bed. What's that all about?

Its more of a serial drama in my eyes. In such drama we have protagonists and antagonists but I personally have never looked upon any HM as a villain. In fact the protagonists are the HM's and the antagonist is Big Brother.

A kiss is just a kiss drunk or sober but, if you're talking about the fumbling too then I think that was very cynical.
The fact that Luke now doesn't want anything to do with her shows it was probably a stunt.

Oh but so many people do. "Nasty" Nick is no. 1. Look at the top 10 villains list here. (http://www.metro.co.uk/bigbrother/article.html?in_article_id=153164&in_page_id=193)
