View Full Version : Is there anyone NOT looking forward to HOH/split?
I am looking forward to them and the general consensus is welcoming the changes but on a curiosity level, is there anyone out there who wishes the series would just carry on how it has been?

To be honest, I like seeing them as a big group all together instead of them being in two groups and this may just create even more group so in a way no, but I am generally looking forward to it, its a change.

I think most people are, its come to the time in the series when we need something major to happen and the producers have realised this.
Its the right time for a change and for anyone not wanting to see it just wait and see if it is any good. This could determine if this series becomes one of the best of all time
I'm not looking forward to it, particularly the introduction of Head of Household - however, I'll give it a chance and see how it will work in the UK. I'm confident Sharon Powers will put a UK spin on it.

I'm with Matt on this. I'm just hoping it's not cocked up like other twists...

I think the twist is gonna be great. I hope the two groups get mixed up together and we see the groups come together a little bit.

I think a lot of people that are REALLY looking forward to it haven't seen BBUS. I'm looking forward to it but I'd be just as happy without.

Sharon Powers has a track record of developing and executing twists in an excellent way. Twists during BB5-CBB4 were under Sharon's control. I'm confident she can pull it off.

I'm not looking forward to it at all. I don't like the US version. :(

That article didn't mention anything about nominations - so its not entirely a 'Big Brother US Week'. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

We’ve been in need of a twist of some sort for a while, I think. I’m willing to give this a chance and want to see how it’ll go. There are already groups and I guess this twist just adds to it.

Didn't she have control over BB6 too (secret garden etc)?

i dont like the way the bbusa has HOH because they all talk about HOH and having control but it will be good in our big brother as sharon powers has control and she will create something amazing (she always does) and i wonder if we will get stupid
POV, power of vito....i definatley do not want vito......
but more interestin to me is the whole HEAVEN and HELL thing i wonder what will go down????
and when the the purple lobby (some people call it the lift in the garden) be revealed. will it be along with this twist????:cheer2:

it would only be for a week so thats fine... but theyv copy it from bbus so its kinda not good for me....i wanted something original

yes i agree with you RAYHEARTBLISS. it does need to be original..
ok, i was doing some research and we know how much fun the writers at the daily star have with big brother articles for example: before BB started they were saying a source (who the hell is this source COUGH COUGH, THEY MADE THE SOURCE UP OBVIOUSLY,) seen ufo like things hovering over elstree studios and that a small person was going in cus there was a childs bed delivered and that a transexual soldier called jan was going in.
so take this with a pinch of salt and i apologise if some of this is true and the dailt star was right for once:
The head of house will also:
* Make the housemates in “hell” do all the tasks while the others lounge around.
* Lock the “baddies” in the glass pod in the garden and make them nominate in front of everyone else.
* Stick folk in the BB padded cell – which was unveiled by the show’s host Davina McCall, 40 – on opening night.
* Decide what to spend the weekly shopping budget on –* treats for the “angels’” and nothing for the others.
* Choose when BB’s tokens – for things like hot water, hair straighteners and treats – can be used.

I wouldn't mind if they carried on as is. I'm a bit of a purist who would watch the show no matter what.
I hope for the spilt that the HM's get the HoH right. If they get it wrong then the whole game could be flipped on its head.

only if they mess with the nomos and the HOH gets all the powet ala American BB

Yep, BB5-CBB4 including BB5, CBB3, BB6 and CBB4 :spin2:
I don't think our HOH will get to nominate and will have other privileges. Its not entirely original but its not a BBUSA clone as some people are suggesting.

matt - i think you speak sense. don't you think it's great that they haven't messed with nommos this year? don't you think they've got it right this year? no more bringing back ex-housemates and desperate twists/ sharon & paul rock is it paul or phil?

Heaven/Hell is just a pathetic rehash of the Rich side/poor side. Old hat and utterley boring......BB planners must be clear out of their minds....

I agree.
I didn't really enjoy the rich/poor split, but at least it was refreshing.
This is just revisiting old twists.
