'American Pie' star wanted for 'Celeb'

ITV bosses are hoping that Shannon Elizabeth will sign up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, according to a report.

The American Pie star is believed to be considering a six-figure deal which has been offered to her by producers, who are currently planning for the forthcoming eighth series.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday: "Shannon is the perfect fit for I'm A Celebrity. She's sexy, full of confidence, and will be a massive hit with the viewers."

Shannon confirmed: "I have a number of film and TV offers on the table but none have been finalised yet so I can't say any more. I love London and it would be great to work in the UK and establish myself there."

The actress appeared on US reality show Dancing With The Stars earlier this year. She was the seventh contestant to be eliminated from the competition.

I think that Shannon would be great on Celeb..but I'm a little bit biased because I love seeing Americans on foreign reality shows. :laugh:

I say it's very probable that she will appear. Plus the papers nearly always get the names early on. The names that come nearer to the start of the show are almost never true but this is far away enough to be plausible.
