PRODUCERS came close to pulling the plug on the entire show and replacing ALL the remaining housemates after Big Brother erupted in violence.
Police had demanded to see full tapes of the bust-up - including events not shown on TV.
One insider revealed: "One option was to get rid of all the housemates and start again - there are people on stand-by. That way police could speak to who they wanted while the show continued."
Bosses then considered evicting the three worst offenders, believing Emma, Victor and Jason might all face charges.
But they feared a public backlash against the show if the three were all free to give their side of the story at the same time.
In the end it was just Emma who paid the price.

Sorry they have misread the public's reaction here, cos a lot of people think Emma was made the scapegoat and the others got off scot free.
I dont agree that they should all have been replaced, but possibly Victor, Emma, Jason and Vanessa should have all gone.
BB whimped out on this one.
"I dont agree that they should all have been replaced, but possibly Victor, Emma, Jason and Vanessa should have all gone."
Hey you what about Marco and Nadia if those 4 went then what about those 2 and all? Double standards people.
I think that Marco was far more to blame than Vanessa - Vanessa did have an argument with Nadia but she was only really a minor player. Marco, fueled by Emma, on the other hand had taken great pleasure in winding Jason up and was one of the main reasons the fight broke out.

Sorry meant to add Nadia and Marco, but the phone went and I got interrupted.
Yes quite agree they were equally at fault. As I said BB took the easy route

They wouldn't have much of a show left if they had replaced 6. And Ahmed was asleep.

Ive been away for the weekend and missed BB, then again watching some of it since I came back I don't actually think Ive really missed much lol. I did hear about Emma being evicted and I was quite sad about it. Not just because I like her, but because of the way the girl has been treated on a whole by such a high profile TV company.
I know there was a lot of people to blame for that night including Emma, but I think it was very wrong of BB to make one person the scapegoat as they did that girl. Some people will say she deserves everything she got because she agreed to do BB, but to put someone in the situation that they put her in and then when it all goes wrong punish ONLY her, then that is not right by any means.
I was one of BB's biggest fans, but this whole situation has dampened the show for me, and I personally don't think BB will be able to pull anything out of the bag, that will make the show more interesting to watch now. (Maybe they will who knows) All I know is, since this all happened, I find myself turning my TV over more and more from BB, something I never thought would ever happen.
I think it is a very sad day that such a TV company has let themselves be dictated to by a couple of individuals. They have not got rid of Victor or Jason because they think they are going to get some more action from them in a physical sense, and how wrong they will be. Those two are cowing the house into becoming the return of BB4 BORING BORING AND BORING.
WELL DONE BB FOR KEEPING THE SLEEPERS IN.:bored:

I totally agree. I still don't understand how people are making out that jay and Vic were the main protaganists in the fight last week.
Because a lot of people have sympathy now for Emma, (and maybe even feel a bit of the old vicarious guilt) and she was quite endearing when in the bedsit with Michelle, everyone is against Jay and Vic cos they were the housemates she blamed for everything. Ooooh, poor emma, picked on by the nasty boys. Rubbish, apart from arguably over reacting to the whole food fight and dancing Marco thing, I really don't see how Jay and Vic can be so hated by everyone.
But saying that, I'm not a big fan of either of them, although not because of the fight. Jay has turned all huffy and boring, (I think he's realised his days in the house are limited) and Vic, while hilarious in the diary room, thinks he's really clever, but revealing his plans to Big Bro in such an arrogant way, actually shows he's not that smart. (Not as smart as the 4 A'Levels Man Stu... perfect example of how an education really doesn't mean you're all that clever)

:conf::conf: Do we all believe what the Daily Mirror reports all of a sudden!!:conf:
Whatever the truth is Emma was made a scape goat. Or their is a lot more to this than meets the eye.
Watching my recording of that eve Shell said to Emma "He will hit you again" Later on Emma stated she was pushed and had wine thrown over her.
